This makes laying solid surface floor so much easier!!! Definitely a good buy.

I bought these for my husband who usually just makes random cuts and hope it works out for the best. I was excited to find these for this price and even more excited when they came in and worked as well as they did. My husband loved them and our bathroom model went smoothly with this tool. I highly recommend this!

My husband loves the idea of these, but has a few issues with the ease of the product and the pins. Maybe he just needs to get used to it or maybe these really are issues, will update as he uses more

It didn't come with instructions, but I googled it. It has made cutting moldings, flooring, around door frames, window frames much easier. No more wasting materials because of bad cuts, and less areas to caulk to hide gaps.

I didn't know that we needed one until we had it! The contour gauge matched the area I needed to cut around, makes it easy to lay floors and do trim work. The unit is plastic but it seems well made. The individual sliding pieces were snug enough so they don't come loose. This is a good addition to my tool box!

If you are laying any sort of flooring and have corners, THIS is a life saver. Helps the accuracy of measurements so much. You will not be disappointed.

Ok. Brought these to do a hallway. Well, that is for my son to do it....For simple shapes they are great. But for more complex they can create a problem. This is mainly down to the fact the red bits that makes the ‘shape’ you need, are too short. So they do not get into complex spaces very well. However, they are still very useful to have. And we will be watching more YouTube vids to see if there is a way to improve the problem.The lock is fantastic. I can use them to make a shape, then hold it upside down and it doesn’t budge. I know another review said they move, so maybe they had a dud one or there was a faulty batch? I got two for the price of £23. A larger red one, and a small blue one. Both hold shape and can be turned upside down and don’t move. Hopefully this is not because they are new! And the stiffness stays stiff!I do recommend because they are useful. But do be aware, with complex shapes, there could be a problem.

I bought this because of the very high reviews and comments. I must be missing something because personally I think this is absolute trash...... No lock so profile easily moves and very flimsy... I’m no novice and do lots of joinery , welding car mechanics so not exactly totally stupid. Now it’s in upcycle box to turn it into something useful......

Poor quality, no clamp and too stiff to get accurate profile, inconsistent tension.

Good but missing a way of locking the position of the outline contour, which you get if you pay a little more. Having now used it, would have found the ability to lock it very useful, rather than worrying about it moving around before marking out. However for the price, it was ok.

Used for boxing in around pipework, a fantastic tool makes awkward cuts much simpler, only thing I would say is it could do with a locking mechanism to fix the slots in the irregular shape, while it didn't slide I felt it would if I wasn't holding the central section in place.
