You can literally change everything with Alexa. Fantastic
TIP: these bulbs are fatter than normal candle bulbs, like the photo.Super easy to install, see below, connects to Alexa, your kids will love Disco mode.I'm currently on a smart home mission. Buying lots of smart tech to help me monitor and control my energy usage as well as make my life more convenient and FUN.These bulbs really are impressive. I love the daylight mode which really gives fantastic light. You can then schedule the lights to change to night mode (warm white glow) towards bedtime to aid your sleep. You can then spice things up with Disco modes which the kids love. These are so easy to setup. I didn't realise but they use the same app as the smart sockets I just brought, Smartlife.Simply screw the bulbs in,Download the Smartlife app.Open app, autoscan or manually add WiFi bulb. You now need to turn on your bulb, turn it off, turn it on, turn it off and then on again. Using a steady rythm. Wait a minute and the bulb will flash.Click search on the app, it will take a minute or two then find it.Input your WiFi username and password, which will be transferred to your bulb. Give your bulb a name and voila. It will now be in your app.Add to Alexa is easy open Alexa app, skills, search smartlife, enable skill, add Smartlife username and password. Alexa will then ask you to add devices. It will search and find them. You can now control your bulbs by voice using the name you gave them. These bulbs are really good fun. ENJOY

Work with smartlife app
Was looking for bulbs that work with smartlife app as i have other bulbs around the house connected to smartlife. These are in some table lamps and were pretty easy to install- you just need to make sure WiFi is switched to 2.4ghz and it will setup fairly easily. The brightness is pretty good but i wouldn't know compared to others as they are more for mood lighting in living room. The music sync is a little delayed but does work. So far so good. I've had them installed for about a month now. Time will tell but i have other bulbs that have lasted couple years and are still working fine.

Good Value and Easy to Set Up
Good price for these smart bulbs. Set up easily, although I could see how the less experienced might struggle a bit. Stick to the instructions and you can’t go wrong. AlexaIntegration works well. Haven’t checked out the full range of colours, but the basic colours are the ones we mostly stick to and these are good enough. Not especially bright, so I’d say if that’s important to you, shop around for the 9w ones. Good enough for my purpose, which is mainly movie night lighting to entertain the kids.

Multicolour lights (caution)
These bulbs are great and I got them setup using the Smartlife app and Alexa. The big issue I found was not actually with the bulbs themselves, but rather getting my router to allow seperate Hz channels so 2.4 and 5. Due to this I suppose there is a degree of caution to anyone considering these is to make sure you know how to get your router in such away.Once I had sorted the router issue though everything was fairly straightforward there after. I purchsed 6 bulbs and have grouped them into 2 group of 3 and 1 global group of 6 for our lounge. Even once grouped though you can still also choose to change each indivdual bulb seperately, so real amount of flexibility. All in all pleased with this purchase and would recommend, but with the ceveat above.

Good value.
Got these in the Black Friday deals and for the price you cant go far wrong, connected pretty easy and give off a nice light albeit not quite as bright as I would of liked but thats my fault. I would personally recommend upto now. Time will tell I guess but from the experience Ive had so far I would have no hesitation in recommending these.

Difficult to install, good quality.
The actual bulbs are good quality given their price (usually around £40-£50) - has amazing colours, really any you can think of and the brightness change actually makes a difference.Lost some stars because of how DIFFICULT they are to connect to their Smartlife App and Amazon Alexa. I found that connecting them via the APmode to be most viable for me...not sure what this is down to (EZmode and Bluetooth simply wouldn't pick the light bulbs up), if you follow the instructions it should work. Saying that, it is very fiddly and you may have to repeat it a few times. A nightmare to connect to Alexa - one second its working the next second it isn't especially when you have two bulbs 'grouped' - BUY ONLY IF YOU ARE PATIENT ENOUGH!!! What I found to work in order to reconnect the bulbs is to actually unscrew the bulbs from their place and then screw them back in so that Alexa can pick them up again. Many other comments have pointed out the high pitch sound it makes even when off and I can confirm this to be true, I suggest just switching them off from their source. To summarise: definitely a struggle to connect but the features and colours that the bulb offers seem to make it worth the hassle, that's the only reason I decided to be patient with the bulbs. Remember, if its not connecting try a different mode or unscrew the bulbs and screw them back in.

Incompatable bulbs and unsaisfying customer service
The first problem, most official smart home apps do not recognize the bulb. You have to download 3rd party apps to set up your routines with your voice assistant.I overcame this and the bothersome that came with it but even after I set the bulb up with their app, many of the bulb functionalities are lacking. I tried to the manufacturer regarding this but in the end, they told me that their engineers can not do any updates on the bulb even though similar bulbs from the same company do not lack this functionality.Wish they have better customer service that understood how to satisfy their customers. Not going to buy from Avatar again.
