Q: Gunters honey is packed in Virginia. Where is the honey harvested?

This honey is not harvested in Berryville, unfortunately. Gunthers will mix shipments of honey from various locations (some may come from Virginia, but I suspect very little if any). Also, despite the labeling on every bottle that says that Gunthers is the "producer and packer" I can tell you that they are not harvesting Orange Blossom honey from Virginia. We do not have citrus trees in Virginia, nor do we have acacia trees. We also have very little buckwheat, so you can assume that these varietals are coming from elsewhere. If you want actual pure, local honey, you will need to go to your local farmer's market to find it.
