Maui JimHookipa Rectangle Sunglasses

The best value for the dollar by far. Optics are great and you don’t get any of the reflection / shadows around the edges like with knock off brands. I use the rose colored lenses for golf as they mute the green colors a bit and make the ball stand out more.

I initially did not like the color, dark/black, but tried them on and have decided to keep them as well as the replacements I ordered which are the same as a pair our new dog decided to chew on. The last pair , one of six previous pairs I’ve owned, I purchased at a sunglass hut and I was told Maui Jim would repair them if I sent them back. They gave me the impression they would repair the broken frames and loose lenses at no charge, but I contacted Maui Jim and was told I would be charged. The pair I’m referring to are not that old and a part of the frame broke. I’m disappointed they would charge me to repair them.

Like the product. MAUI JIMS are expensive for me, but worth it. They are a quality product and last for years. Based on past experiences (i have had several pairs rebuilt after extensive, hard use) their customer care is world class. They turn your glasses around quickly! Excellent product, great lenses and feel good while wearing them!

This is my second Maui Jim Ho'okipa and the very last. The quality was not good. I take good care of all my things and this was treated just as good. No falls, no rough cleaning and handling. Then suddenly one nose rest broke after about a year and a half. The lenses started getting flaky and while trying to get value for money of the remainder.....the thing just broke in the middle. After reviewing other reviews, I can't help but wonder if this was fake. I can't believe something genuine can be so poor quality. Very, very sad. Amazon needs to do better and care about people's hard earn.I'm happy now buying the ones that look alike but cost 20-30 bucks and I ain't have to worry

No sane person has to question the quality of Maui Jim shades. However, because of theseincredible prices, I was skeptical. So, I set out to a local Sunglass Hut (as recommended by others)and picked out a couple pairs that I loved. I took camera shots of the serial numbers, construction, etcso i would have a comparison.The Sunglass Hut salesperson says "No way you're getting these shades at THAT price" lol. She says"Bring them back here and I'll show you they're fakes". Well, I received the shipment exactly 6days after ordering(don't pay attention to that month and a half stuff, you'll get them within a week), and took them back to the Sunglass Hut.She says.. "Well, they're certainly authentic.. looks like you gotta great deal" Yeah lady,that's what I said :-) No Soup For You!

Very light weight and comfortable. My third Maui Jim...(others lost or..).One of the best sunglasses on the market

LOVE these glasses, and they are nicer than I expected. I bought these to replace a similar pair that got broken (which I also loved). My only disappointment was that for a $200 pair of sunglasses there was no protective case. This makes no sense to me.
