This so confusing the product details says ships as pack of 2. each pack is 2lb ( 900g ) but i got mine in 4 packs of 100g so the total is not 900g !?

All I can tell you is my experience was good with these folks. I got the 2 packages as shown on the site and the weight was right. The olives were wonderful and full of flavor. You should have got two 900 gram packages.  This could be a possible answer, if you would or can still weigh one package yourself, and see if maybe it weighs ONE pound Not 100 grams like it could have listed ?  My packages were written as 2 pounds on the package and maybe when they printed labels for smaller packages they got the numbers wrong. I do not think English is their first language, and quite possibly got it mixed up .. your package would only weigh about 8 ounces if it is truly 100 grams, and would be pretty easy to find out.. My hope is that you did get 4 one pound packages for some reason.  It happens with my orders of tea, I order one 4 oz package and get 2 but only half the weight in each. I think it is what ever they have in stock at that time of shipping they just send.  Same great tea only in smaller packages.  If you in fact are short 2 pounds of olives you should contact customer support.  On a side note ? How do you like the olives ?  Are they not the best olives you have ever eaten ?  I was blown away with how much more Olive flavor these have over a pickled olive or just plain salted can of olives. I hope this  helps you.  I will be making another order myself next week.

What is the shelf life?

These come in vacuum packed and there is no info on the packages of how long a shelf life they expect from them that  I can see.  They come to the house not in any special container or packed in ice or cold shipping method.  I put them into the refrigerator when I get them and open up one bag and transfer it to a jar with a screw on lid and keep that in the fridge as well.  I use them up pretty fast as I love the flavor and put them in home made bread and rolls use them in salad cut them up and add them to chicken recopies eat them with crackers as a snack or make a type of tempanaud to mix in with pasta and sweet Italian sausage.  I have had them in my fridge over 4 months with no ill affects.  Being cured I would think they would hold up 6 months to a year if need be.  This is just my thoughts on the olives as the company has not said anything like this on the packaging that the olives comes in.  It could be there but in a language I am not able to read I do not know.  These are the authentic variety that I used to get from a local Italian specialty store here that closed down a couple years ago.  I have been looking for a replacement for them all this time, and These are exactly as I remember getting from their store. They always kept the olives in the deli counter, so I guess it is good to keep them refrigerated once they are opened or just stored so that they keep fresh flavor longer.  Or fresh cured is a better wording.  Hope that helped you, The flavor is strong earthy olive taste that once you try them it is hard to eat other olives with the same satisfaction.
