Square D 20a 1p Gfci Circuit Breaker

My existing breaker started randomly tripping more and more often...seemingly when there wasn't even any load on it. I was prepared to go through each outlet on the circuit and check the terminations or even purchase a leakage current meter and thoroughly test each potential leakage point. I decided to try a replacement as it was easier than checking terminations and cheaper than a leakage current meter...but not a likely solution. The replacement breaker has been in for over a week and hasn't tripped once...and the old breaker would rarely make it through a day without tripping.

Great product. I live in an older home with a QO panel and these are a great way to provide a degree of protection without a complete rewire. Especially when older boxes don't always fit a GFCI so well. These do take a little more horizontal space in your panel than a standard breaker, so it was a little tricky to fit in my messy panel, but well worth the effort for the protection. Price was fair at the time I got this. A few dollars more than a hardware store, but delivered to my door in 1 day so way less hassle.

This is a quality name brand product that installed easily without issue. These fault breakers can be very expensive but are required by code in my area when new electrical is installed. I was able to find this breaker at a reasonable price. I am not an electrician but was able to upgrade with this product myself.

Arrive quickly. Couldn't find one at the big box stores.
