works great, I have two monitors and a mechanical keyboard attached to this with my laptop. Everything is working smooth as it should. The adapter heats up a bit but hasn't caused any issues yet.

VFM 8K HDMI Switcher
Orei BK-21 8K 2x1 HDMI Switcher works perfectly fine. You need constant power. The power USB is part of the package which is good. I have tested up to 2K. I wanted to ensure I have future proof though for the time being going to stick with 2K. Will update if I end up testing 4K.
