Great! Nice and tight !
Installed on a 95 Z28 - you would think it wouldn’t take so long to install but took about 4 hours most of it was just trying to get the bracket off the transmission - I also have headers and a Y pipe. Installing the new bushing was super easy definitely put the arm in the bushing before tightening any bolts! It gets super tight!

Good product. Correct dimensions.
Quality was great. Energy suspension is one of my favorites. Every bushing I replace on my camaro I get from these guys. A word of warning though, when installing make sure you got a buddy to help. These things can be a large pain to get the bolt to tighten down. Other than that feels solid when I dump the clutch! 5 stars.

Good part but check grooves
Good quality part. One piece seems more durable than old school 2 piece so install is a little harder l. Also note. These are specific for what type of torque arm u have meaning what position the grooves face. I used this on a manual t5 swap torque arm. My old auto arm would use the opposite

Reliable
Installed on my 95 Trans am (FBody)I chose this one because I used the same brand motor mounts a couple years ago. This one is designed to work only with the stock torque arm as it has a groove for the “zig zag” steel end of the OEM arm. It only fits into the factory clamshell one way, or the clamshell won’t close (bolt on) properly. I fought for 20 mins thinking it went either way.

Firm Upgrade for Camaro / Firebird
Firm replacement for OEM rubber mount. You have to drill or grind-out the original rivets in order to install this properly. If you don't (and only remove the old rubber), the bushing will be extremely tight in the mount (possibly why another reviewer had trouble?) and nearly impossible to close. This bushing provides better torque-arm control and is noticeably stiffer than the stock bushing. Installation is made easier if you drop the transmission cross member (remember to support the transmission) and clean the torque arm "nose" well before installation. Use the lube provided on both the torque arm and squeeze it into the bushing, and a thin coating on the outside as well. Another tip is to use a clamp to squeeze the clam-shell to then start threading the top bolt.I installed this on a 2001 Camaro SS with the T-56 manual transmission and Hurst shifter, along with Energy Suspension's transmission mount (3.1142R) and it was a great improvement in ride and control. Chirps into 2nd and even 3rd gear if I want to. Highly recommended.

Excellent product. PITA to install
Great fit for my 2000 Pontiac Trans Am. Save yourself some cussing when you go to put it back in the clamshell and bent the top of the bracket forward about a half a inch to line up the bolt hole so you don’t waste a day trying to do it any other way
