Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 (Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256 GB) - Black (Renewed)

The computer is great. Graphics are good, touch screen is awesome, the keyboard is lit, but when I received my laptop the charger was broken then a week later the touch pad was jammed. I’m not an aggressive clicker so how it jammed is beyond me. But this review isn’t so much for the laptop cause it’s a great laptop but mainly for the company. They were so understanding when I contacted them and they gave me a full refund. They had great customer service. Again the computer is great. I just probably got that one bad one in the batch. I would recommend this computer and company If your looking for a surface!

This laptop is *almost* perfect. The ONLY thing I dislike is the Alcantara material around the keyboard and trackpad. I haven't had this happen yet, but I've seen photos of more well used laptops having spots of wear, dirt, and sweat on the material. They sell products to cover the material, but I think it was just a bad design choice and a general oversight. The performance is exactly what you would expect for a laptop from this year and with these specs. It preforms office tasks and basic browsing with flying colors. I don't see this laptop doing well for anyone who runs more demanding programs like the adobe suite or blender for example. But for what you pay for, this laptop does beautifully. The screen quality is excellent, touch screen is responsive, laptop holds charge for quite some time and charges pretty dang fast. I absolutely LOVE how thin this thing is. I've owned many laptops in the past and this thing blows my previous MacBook Air out of the water on it's portability and weight. Overall, 100% worth your money if you're looking for something affordable, functional, and sleek.

Bought the black version of the Surface Laptop 2 and was thoroughly impressed with the condition as being new. I ran a battery test after running the plethora of Windows updates and the battery was new! Sometimes with used or refurbs this is where things can slide a but not in this case. Definitely passed all Microsoft Certified Ref specs. Highly recommended. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend buying this way for a nice discount.

Ordered and this arrived within 4 days. Laptop is basically brand new so overall I'm impressed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there is a very small tad bit of wear on the edge on the keyboard. No one would ever notice unless you tried hard to look at it. Spec's were as advertised (8GB RAM, 256 SSD, i5). Screen quality is amazing, Glossy and clean. Keyboard is in brand new condition. I will say I am impressed with how they packaged the product, knowing it's a refurbished device. It came in an authentic Microsoft box.

I bought this laptop May 2020. Battery runs out quickly but other than that, it works well!

Great deal, I received it earlier than the shipping date and it's like brand new. I would never know that this has been refurbished. The device itself is great, not powerful enough for gaming so if that's what you're looking for , this isnt it. But for getting work done and web surfing as well as other functions this laptop is great for it. I bought it for college as a freshman and I am sure I wont regret it.

I bought one a week ago and loved it until the screen died. It broke and stayed black. I could tell it was only the screen because I could see the camera light flash as it recognized me. I ordered another of the exact same unit. Unfortunately this one arrived without a working touchscreen. Touching the screen did nothing. It bothered me too much that I didn't have a working touchscreen so I returned it and ordered a third one of these. I checked and the touchscreen worked. Then I upgraded windows and the touchscreen quit working. I have tried everything, upgrading drivers, restoring windows, etc. over the last few days and nothing worked. I decided to try windows 11. It had pestered me to upgrade to 11 many times. But after restoring windows this last time the option disappeared. When I ran the health check it said it could be upgraded. But I have tried everything, googled everything, and there is no way for me to upgrade, So I'm finally giving up and returning this to buy a laptop from anyone other than microsoft. Apparently this cannot run the latest versions of windows 10 without killing the touchscreen. And I can't upgrade to 11. You would think microsoft would make windows compatible with their own laptops.

Better than I expected! It is super thin and fast and all around a beautiful computer! 10/10 would recommend
