Great Brew on the Go
I love French Press coffee and make myself a big pot in a big insulated French Press and enjoy a LOT of coffee every day. But it's getting expensive, plus I have a trip coming up and I'll be staying with someone who exclusively has Nespresso, which I don't care for. So I bought this lovely thermos French Press to cut down my consumption and to have real coffee during that visit.I chose Bodum as I've used their coffee products in the past and liked them. It works as advertised and makes a nice thermos of coffee that stays hot, but drinkable, for hours. My main issue with a lot of travel cups is the drinking experience, but this one has a nice broad lip and feels pleasant to drink out of. It also seals tightly and spill proof.

Bodum French press great ( and as good as Aeropress)
I bought this travel French press in 2023. Today is Feb. 2025. It was for a trip, but I have used it almost daily for 1-2 years now. I search reviews about coffee makers all the time looking for ‘something better’. When I look at my purchases, I have a different one for every 3-6-9 months. Except now. I am one person. Who wants a perfect cup or two of great tasting coffee every morning without fail. I bought the stainless steel since I am opposed to plastic; and to hot water being poured over that plastic. It makes very good ,hot coffee. I like it strong, but not espresso level. I use 4 T. To make 10 ounces of coffee. I use cream ( half & half). Sometimes I wish I had another cup, but now it’s made. I always pour this freshly made coffee into a coffee cup, then add cream. I have tried pulling plunger out, adding a little more hot water and re- plunging. Not great. Now, I just use a portable pour over silicone holder with a coffee filter. Since, I want my last taste of coffee to taste as good as the first one. I am surprised this not having ratings closer to the Aeropress. My son in law uses the aeropress, but honestly my coffee tastes as good as his. Maybe the Aeropress is easier to clean, but this one does a good job. No paper or plastic ( except for lid). And I think it costs less.( or in 2023 it did)!

Purchased one - then two more
We bought one as a potential solution to bad coffee at work. It’s the perfect size to fill with coffee grounds and fits in a lunch box or cup holder. The insulated cup is easy to drink from and keeps the water hot if you like to let it seep longer for strong coffee. The press functions very well and keeps most of the grounds out of your mouth.I was skeptical since drinking from the french press seemed wrong and gritty.I liked it so much that I bought 2 more. I planned to buy one to rotate in the dish washer and the second was to have one to use in my home office.

Nice, pretty cool product, not water tight
This product mostly seems well made and is pretty nice, the only reason I give four stars is it needs something to block the coffee from sloshing out through the place where the handle of the plunger sticks out. It makes it so that you couldn't really throw it into a bag or something because it doesn't actually seal. Other than that it's nice.

Drinking grounds!
I travel quite a bit and thought this would be ideal. Smaller than my French press and no glass. Worked great till I tipped the cup for last 1/4 of liquid and started getting grounds. Not pleasant. I was on a short trip and no French press with me. I tried putting a piece of paper towel just slightly larger than plunger screen under the screen. I use crio brewed cacao. It is a rough ground. Not a fine grind in any way. The paper towel worked perfect. But this product has a definite design flaw. No one wants grounds in their mouth! The paper towel was a save, but does make the plunger little harder to push but its do able on my trip.
