Q: Do you recommend these chairs for the beach? Or do they weigh to much to be walking around with?

I love my chairs but i feel like for the beach they are too long and a bit uncomfortable to move around. They are not heavy but you would have to tie them to carry them around, as you can see in the video they don’t stay closed. I feel like they’re more suitable for patio, pool area. Hope this helps.

Q: How tall are the chairs when folded? I want to know if they’ll fit in my car

They are very tall, about 4 feet 10 inches. They do not find into the trunk of a Toyota Camry. I was able to get them into the hatch of a VW Touareg, which is the larger of the suv class but they breached into the backseat.

Q: Is the hardware stainless steel or aluminum? I’d be taking these to a heavy salt water/air environment.

Sorry. I’m not sure what the metal is. The hardware is heavy duty and no rust after a year. These are in Florida by the pool, which is a saltwater pool and I have taken these to the beach. We store them in the garage so not exposed to salt/air all the time and I don’t know how often they get used. Having said all that, these have held up well to rain and pool use for three weeks at a time a couple times a year.

Q: Can you purchase replacement canvas or other colors?

Any sturdy fabric could be used.
