Still going strong and always a conversation piece. Opens smoothly, no rips in the ribs, case is still intact. And yes, I love how I feel when I carry it. Real happy I bought this.

I feel like a badass with this thing. The length of the umbrella is a little long for my arm span, so trying to remove the umbrella from it's sheath, while on my back (like a ninja), is kind of difficult but I make it work

I loved it. I'm gonna paint the handle so that it is black/white instead of black/black cause I think it'd look better than just a straight black handle but other than that I love it, probably won't take it to the rain but I'm gonna idolize the crap outta this anyway.

This is the perfect weight for training! Heavy enough with beautiful, finger friendly handle. I will be back for more. Great gift idea for martial artist friends.

I bought it for my son's samurai outfit and it looks like a sword. He used it for the rain and it has been the best umbrella we ever had.

The item was broken and the missing piece was not in the box which means it was shipped broken . Cool item but came damaged and to reorder and get on time it's an extra $20 ridiculous.

The mechanism is great quality, and the ribs are quite flexible. I am however disappointed that the hand guard is nearly broken in two and I don’t even have the other piece in my package to attempt to fix it...

Did not receive the product shown in the other reviews. It's flimsy and does not have as many bones as pictured.

Liked this alot! Its well made, and should hold up to lots of use. Also its a very good size and provides lots of coverage. Dunno if they case is very practical though, but time will tell.

You might get the odd look, buts a great umbrella.
