Onarway Door Closer Parallel Arm Bracket Mount Plate Aluminum Finish Required for Parallel Arm Mounting

This optional part made my install go smoothly. Happy I went with it. Very thick, heavy and substantial.

Worked perfectly with its paired door closer from the same manufacturer.

This is an essential bracket required to mount the Onarway door closer in the parallel option of installation. I felt the three mounting holes were too close to the edge of the door frame when mounted as required. I felt that if an unintentional excessive force were thrust upon the door when open that it might rip from the frame. I drilled another hole in the center of the plate approx. 2'" toward angle end and used another heavier screw to provide additional strength to the mounting. I also shared my thoughts with the Seller and they responded positively about my concerns.

Material has good quality. The design of its door closer connection part made very difficult for inserting and turning the connection screws.

Total waste of money, just steer clear of Onrway, or any other Chinese door closer, complete waste of money.
