It's just a good as I remember. This is the fifth of sixth iteration of the legendary Buck 110 that I've had. I gave one to my son. I think he still has it. I gave one to my daughter. She doesn't have it, anymore. And I've had several others, since I started carrying pocket knives, sometime back. They look sharp. They are sharp. They're the kind of heirloom, that will be carried and used, well into the next generation.

I don’t know what Buck did to their 440c knife steel, but its now far better than the more expensive ones they make out of SV32 or SV35 steel. And better than most of these other knives that cost more. Better than Spyderco. I’m outdoors ranching type, use a knife every day.

Theres just something sexy about a classic folder. I had one early on, and who knows where it ended up. I wish I did, because it was passed on to me by my late father when I started hunting in the mid 80’s. I don’t know why it took me so long to order a replacement. It was sharp out of the box, and a quick strop on leather made it scary sharp. I hit it with some ballistol and it is a beaut. For $64 dollars it really is a steal considering you are getting a solid, well crafted, American made item of quality. I have many knives with all the latest steels and this knife is no slouch with the humble 420HC. If you’re on the fence, jump to the other side.

Fits my hand perfectly and is comfortable to hold. Holds an edge very well.

Buck 110 showed up exactly as expected and in perfect condition. Blade sharp out of the box. Only gave 4 stars because a leather sheath was supposed to come with it but was not included. No big deal, what I wanted was the knife but it should have been there.
