I installed this product to the roof of my car. The process was fairly straightforward and easy to implement, especially after watching others on YouTube do it. All the fiber optic strands were long enough (I bought the 9' option) so they reached everywhere in the headliner I wanted a star to be. The remote control signal reaches all the way back to the trunk where I mounted the light engine which is great. The only thing was I needed to purchase a 10' long DC power cable because the 6.5' long DC power cable they provided was a little too short, but again I mounted mine in the farthest corner of my trunk. The customer service was great because they provided me the exact details of what 10' DC power cable to purchase and were very quick to reply. At night, the results of this starlight headliner ARE AMAZING! I cannot believe I have this in my vehicle! Easy to turn on and off, remote with options is so cool. My overall impression is this is a great product and, if installed properly, will yield fantastic results!!

I’ll break this down into a few categories... The unit: Works well. box is smaller then i thought. I have no doubts this will last a while. Glad i spent the money on a nicer box as opposed to a non twinkling or solid color one. The installation: Depending on your car removing the headliner could be 25 minutes or 2-5 hours. Expect to break numerous clips. Once the liner is out the rest is tedious work. The real fun starts when your trying to route the lines. If you don’t keep organized... sh!t will hit the fan, and quick! I strongly reccomend going with 14 feet as opposed to 9. I ran about 2 feet short on a g35 coupe from where i originally wanted to put the box. Worked out fine in the end but couldn’t hide the box.

The product works fairly well and it has a pretty decent twinkle effect, it took me around 2 days from start to finish but just be aware that it’s not going to be as easy as it seems it was a hassle and many hours but it was all worth the end results! I would definitely recommend this starlight kit since it does come with a blue tooth app that works with your phone 👍

The device itself is easy and intuitive to use. Installing the device into your project (whatever that is... car, room, etc.) is very time consuming and you need to make sure you know exactly what your plan is before buying to be sure you have the right tools needed... Otherwise all features work perfectly (changing colors, quality, bluetooth app, twinkle effect, music feature) very happy with my purchase and recommend only if you are willing to put in the time to make sure you get the outcome you have invisioned

Overall this took me about 13 hours to finish. I installed in my 06 mustang gt. Definitely a tedious project but i’m so happy with the the way it turned out, it’s exactly what I wanted. I recommend using a dental pick to make the hole in the headliner and also sharpen the end of the fiber by cutting it at an angle. Makes it much easier to poke through the headliner.

Is there a way I can get a replacement box I need just the box for some reason it stop working

Now everything about the product works exactly as intended. So 5 stars, but do keep in mind installing this is the most time consuming and tedious products one can do. Be warned, however the final product is amazing so it’s completely worth it. The app is easy to navigate and learn. I have to main box located in my trunk and the remote works in the cabin. No complaints from me.

I wanted to do my own starlight headliner in my Subaru BRZ and ended up researching a lot of different features and units available to Canadians and came across this. The actual product is amazing! I have literally no complaints - it has worked perfectly since my installation about 7 months ago and everyone that has seen it in action has also just been in love. Easy to install and operate and looks absolutely stunning day or night. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit for the twinkle motor, physical remote, smartphone app (doesn't always work the greatest but a nice feature to use sometimes), and all the different modes and available colors. If doing this in your car definitely get as many fibers as possible (I used the 10ft 450 fibers option) to make the starlight headliner really pop. As for the install itself, it would depend on the car, but it took me about 8-10 hours to fully install mine and achieve an OEM finish (including headliner removal, fiber optics installation, interior disassembly to route everything into the trunk, wired to an accessory power fuse tap, and full interior reassembly). Several issues within 4 months of installation. The app stopped connecting to Bluetooth. The light colours will no longer change. The remote is also stuck on one setting, even after troubleshooting. It's a lot of work installing the lights when the product fails so quickly.

I payed extra for the 550 piece set and only got the 440… overall product works great but was just disappointing
