Very well made even though it comes from China. Great for removing the hydraulic filter from my K tractor.

its adjustable. Mind you when you are grabbing onto a gear nut you may need some additional torque, this allowed us to put on a short piece of PVC pipe for a little extra pull. Quality seems to be OK for the task its designed for.

I bought this tool to help rebuild a tilt cylinder on a forklift. The gland nut was on extremely tight, so I had to use a "cheater bar" on this to help give me additional leverage. (I am sure that this is not recommended by the manufacturer.) Anyway, it was on so tight (and I used so much leverage) the part broke....but the tool held on strong! (I used it again to put the cylinder back together and it worked great.) The tool fit my application perfect and I highly recommend.

I needed to, reseal, the bucket cylinders, on my Cat backhoe. The machine is over 25 years old and, as far as I know, these cylinders have never been taken apart. I had a five foot cheater, and this, spanner, took everything we threw at it. My son, is as stout as a bull, and he could not get the cylinder cap to break loose, even with the cheater. We were very abusive, to this spanner, and it did not break. I expected it to, at any second, but it held up, to the abuse. I ended up, having to use an ox-cetacean torch to heat up the threads to get them to come loose.

Picture shows a pin style spanner, but actual product is hook style. Useless for my Kubota tractor dump cylinders.

In a whole it's a good tool. The only real bad thing I've found is the roll pin is the weakest part. First time I used it to remove a gland nut the pin crushed and fell out. Luckily I carry them on my service van so it was a simple fix for me. Other than that it's been great

Perfect fit and did exactly what I purchased it for. Good quality as well.
