The collar (metal prongs and chain) are authentic products sourced from Herm Sprenger, however, the Leather Strap and Buckle Assembly portion is not. Because it is not a 100% off-the-shelf Herm Sprenger product, it does not fall under their warranty. Instead, it falls under our warranty (1 year).

Q: What size is the Large?? Is the link 3.0mm? Or bigger?

The small has 2.25mm prongs, the large has 3.2mm prongs

Q: What is the appropriate size prong collar for a 6 month old 50 pound yellow lab retriever?

Dog trainer recommended for my chocolate lab the 2.25” link collar about that age. We started with the 12” and I added links over time. But you should measure your dog’s neck as could be different.

Q: Are extra links provided for when a puppy grows larger?

no, but you can buy them separately
