A Refreshing Look at U. S. History
When I was a young person in school, I had no interest in history. Since then, I have learned that our history is important because it shows us how we arrived at where we are and allows us to learn from our mistakes in order to make a better future. I haven't read the entire book yet but, so far, I am pleased with the way it is written (in clear, readable prose). The author also provides attention to the important role of Christianity in American history. This is the type of textbook that should be in our schools.

Book good, delivery terrible
Of course amazon can't deliver a book without damaging it. Haven't been able to read the book, but I'm pissed off it's damaged so now I'll haven't to replace it. Would be a good idea to package this better, amazon just throws packages around.

True historical accuracy
Many modern history books are a modern depiction of historical events and therefore have an agenda based slant to them. This book is written using data and ancestral lineage to formulate timelines and events. Great read and a great resource. I purchased this book to maintain the true historical data from the conception of the US of America. I didn't want my kids to enter into the folly of events taught in this entitled and overtly sensitive American educational system. - Spanish philosopher George Santayana roughly stated, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” - Post WWII British statesman Winston Churchill wrote, “Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.”
