Rolling Mobile Computer Desk/Cart with Storage Shelves, Rolling Working Station for Small Spaces, Printer Shelf

I am a new old student and I needed a work station big enough to hold a pile of textbooks, laptop, maybe a monitor, a wireless keyboard, mouse, and other accessories and still have room to have an open text book and a notebook. But the desk needed to be compact enough so as not to dominate the room and on rollers to hide in the garage to get it out of they way when company comes over. This is the perfect unit for my needs. It is extremely well made and sturdy for the price. Solid metal frame with coated composite shelving. This is not the particle board units with only finished tops that are sold everywhere in this price range. The keyboard tray and shelves connect directly to the frame rather than brackets under the top piece so I don't fear it will snap off if I rest my arms on the keyboard. The shelves are heavy duty enough to hold my giant pile of books and notebooks without sagging. But the best part of all is the adjustable top/ printer shelf. This can be mounted on the back or either side. It uses a bracket system rather than screws so it is truly adjustable to wherever you want it. I found this unit but I wasn't thrilled about the color so I kept shopping and found similar units in a faux wood with a side mounted printer shelf and thought it would fit my needs a little better. Finally I ended up on the manufacturers site. I was pleased to find they make the Techni Mobili branded items but they also make the Sharper Image line as well, materials look to be the same but without the price tag of the name brand. After checking the install guide I realized the $80-$100 wood grain versions were actually this unit, the pics just showed the top shelf installed on the side. I placed my order immediately. And I couldn't be happier. This unit is assembled in less than 30 minutes and they included the wrench and screwdriver in the box, no extra tools required. The cd rack is optional to install so if you don't need it, you don't have to use it. The only drawback I found is this seems to ship from the manufacturer so add a day or 2 for processing. It was still eligible for Prime, but delivered in 3 days instead of 2.

I needed a smaller, sturdier, and more protable desk that would be able to fit my entire gaming PC setup which includes the following: - 32 inch curved monitor - 7-port powered USB hub - Full sized keyboard and vertical mouse - GSX 1000 external sound card sitting on top of the desk - Headphones - ITX PC in a Thermaltake Suppressor F1 Mini chassis - Pair of 2.0 speakers - Steam Controller - 4-plug power strip to plug everything in The desk was easy enough to assemble by myself. All necessary tools (2) were included, and all parts/screws were individually packaged and marked for convenience. There are even some spare parts in case someone needs them. Once put together, I was surprised by how small the desk actually was in person. It literally takes up less than half the amount of space that my old desk did. However, everything listed above was able to fit with ease. With a little bit of tape, some cable ties, and some adhesive velcro dots, I managed to route all of the cables and power bricks neatly to where only a few are visible. The small piece of wood serving as the backbone of the desk functioned well as a hub for cable management. As a bonus, the CD tray thing on the left side is being used to hold my phone. I often change my mind about how I want to arrange the furniture in my room. Anytime I wanted to move my old desk, I would need to unplug everything in the list, move everything somewhere else, hit every wall trying to move the cumbersome thing around to its new spot, inch it into place until it's straight, bring everything back, and rewire everything again. Now, all I need to do is unplug the power strip from the wall, roll the desk to its new spot with everything on it (still wired up), and plug the power strip into the new outlet. I would defenitely recommend this desk to anyone in need of something small, easy to build, functional, and mobile which can fit their entire setup without any compromises.

The desk is nice and small so if that is what you are looking for here it is. You will need a couple of different sized screw drivers when assembling this desk even though it comes with one or you risk stripping screws. I did not use the CD storage rack, I think that most people would not use this rack. I got this for my daughter. I am not sure if she even knows what a music CD is. I guess you could use it for jewel cases if you are still storing data on optical media. This feature seems very antiquated to me, then again if you look at the image of the desk the computer in the photo is pretty dated. The printer/monitor attachment that shows in various locations does not have to be used if you so desire. I think the desk design is still great, it is on wheels and easy to move around if you need to. Maybe a little design update will keep this going even longer or make it more desirable. Change the jewel case storage out for maybe a side storage organizer for pens or folders. It is a small desk so need as much free desk space as possible. Anyway, Great price, nice small desk, great for a person looking for something very small that can fit almost anywhere and put a computer on it or not. The reason for the 4 star rating versus 5 star rating is because when assembling one of the panels the pilot holes were just to small for the screws and the screws were going in very hard and began to strip. I had to go back a couple of steps to access the panel to make it easier for me to install and then continue. Made it a lot harder. I did not drill out the holes, I did not want to modify it and void the warranty. Other than that it was easy to put together, instructions and parts are labeled very well. hope this helps I would buy it again, and recommend it to a friend

This is an excellent unit, of much better quality than I expected for the money. Its parts seem substantial and well made, including the screws, with a very nicely done rounded edges on everything. All parts were clearly labelled. The instructions were easy to follow and came with a screwdriver and small wrench. There was even a bag of spare screws. It’s really a two-person job, with someone to hold things together while someone else puts the screws in. It didn’t take long to assemble, and we’re very pleased with it. The high shelf can be places anywhere, not just at the back as seen in the photo. I've used it for a couple of days and recommend it.

This is a great desk for working at home my printer fits on bottom shelf, love the keyboard tray it moves easily around my house for whenever I decide to work from. Very easy to assemble in minutes..... Great product for the money.

Nice small desk. Went together fairly easily. Some scuffs and the edging wasn't perfect in a couple places but it wasn't too expensive and there was no major damage. The maximum weight capacity is confusing, Amazon and the manufacturers website said 100lbs on the top of the desk but instructions said 50lbs. I contacted the manufacturer who first confirmed 100lbs and then later changed their mind and said it was 50lbs. So far it's holding up my Commodore 64 setup. I hope it lasts.
