My pool motors capacitor got weak after 4500 starts. That’s normal for a capacitor. The motor first hummed then just stopped. Eventually the motor started. This happened five times per start then the motor eventually completely stopped working. I purchased this one that matched my old one. Took me five minutes to install it and guess what??? My 30 year old in ground pool works like new. Just a great product at a very fair price

After a long trip the pump accidentally ran dry for a while and when we got back the pump would have a loud buzzing sound at first, and then overheat and make no sound at all. We thought the pump given the age was completely shot and just needs to be replaced but we tried this capacitor just in case. The physical size was slightly different but the install was easy and the pump works fantastic again! $8 vs $300 was an easy decision and always worth trying, even if it wasn’t the solution, you’ll have a spare cap for the new pump so it’s not a waste. I didn’t see info in reviews for my pump so wanted to leave info in case you have something similar: Century Centurion 1.5 HP Pool Pump Part: 0-F56AA40A01-24 CAT: B2854

I bought this last year in June of 24 and it died last month. I decided to order another because I needed one asap to get my pump/motor up and running. This new one was a lot smaller, but as soon as I installed it, my equipment started up fine. If this new one lasts a little longer then I’ll update my star to five on the review.

This capacitor worked great for a Pentair WhisperFlo single speed Pool Pump.

Easy to install

This took five minutes to install and works great. Much better than having the expense and labor to replace the pump.

This was a perfect replacement for my Century Centurion B855 pool pump.
