How to make this coffee? Is it similar to regular coffee powder or coffee beans? I understand that it's not coffee bag anymore.

I grind the Teechino very fine, separately bring my water to a boil, put several teaspoons of Teehino into the hot water till it's fairly dark, place the mixture back on the stove till there's a glimmer of a tiny boil, shut the fire and then pour the mixture into a cup. Then I usually put whip cream on top likes Viennese coffee. Or you can use it just like regular coffee beans with a machine and a coffee filter, or any other way that you use regular coffee.

Question 2

The last ingredient listed is "natural coffee flavor" does that mean it contains coffee?  What is natural coffee flavor?  I cannot have coffee.

Who would imagine that coffee and garlic share the same flavor component?The expertise of flavor chemists allows them to extract only those flavoring components that they require from natural ingredients without getting many other components of each source that don't contribute to the flavor. Thus it is possible to produce coffee flavor without the caffeine or acidity found in coffee beans. is product gluten free

An ingredient is barley which contains gluten, but there is negligible amounts of gluten in the actual brewed tea. So it's technically gluten free, but if you want to be extra careful then get the dandelion teechino. This has no barley and is completely gluten free. I also like it better, but that's just a personal preference. There is also a lot more flavors on the teechino website.

What does "natural flavor" mean? Are there preservatives in this?

Teeccino uses only pure, natural flavors made from flavoring constituents that are extracted from natural ingredients like fruits, spices, and herbs. Teeccino flavors do not contain any constituents from meat, seafood, poultry, eggs, soy, soy derivatives or edible yeast. Teeccino does not allow any monosodium glutamate (MSG) or any derivatives of MSG, propylene glycol, or preservatives in its flavors.

All Teeccino flavors are ‘organic compliant’ which means that no ingredients are allowed in them that have been extracted using synthetic solvents or that are not permissible in organic products according to the USDA National Organic Program.
