Great binder for school!
This binder is perfect for my son, who’s in grade 7. It has a tab for every subject, plus extra pockets. And the pocket out front holds his Chromebook, so he has less to carry! Love this!

Great messenger bag style binder
Best binder for middle school if your child's school requires them to use loose leaf paper rather than notebooks. The outside large pocket is great for the school issued iPad and the book for reading. The zippered small front pocket is deep and can hold scissors, colored pencils, index cards, and post its. CaseIt has a very similar binder with D rings inside that I found in BJs (it was even cheeper after the school started). This one that I bought on Amazon is still in use starting on its 4th month. I purchased a gel padded shoulder strap to replace the original one because the binder gets quite heavy and the strap needs to be padded. We started with 4" CaseIt but after receiving it we realized it's too big and bulky. We quickly bought a 3" one from Walgreens while waiting for this one, but it was also inferior. If your kids take care to clean their binder from no longer needed sheets and past units, 2" binder is all they need. The 2" binder is also larger inside, which is counterintuitive. The reason is that while the enclosed space is larger the bigger the binder is, the space for the sheets gets shorter and narrower. So you can't put page dividers and folders without them being somewhat stuck when closing the 4" and 3" binders. The bigger binders also may not fit in the school lockers. The only issue with this type of binders vs. regular plastic binders is that it is not easy to write when the sheets are in the binder. Your student will have to take out the sheet they are writing on. But it is a small inconvenience for the ability to be super compact and mobile in the short break between classes. And the iPad is super safe inside as well.

Perfect for school
There is storage for everything, including a chrome book. Easy to carry as well. We got the red one and the color is off, it has a white accent not silver/gray. Very functional able.

Good binder but...
I liked this binder. It works pretty well but I had one problem. Sometimes while carrying my binder through the halls by the handle it would get bumped into. Then when I would get to class and open it the rings would’ve come apart and a lot of my papers would’ve fallen out. So now I just carry it like a regular binder without the handle. Which does kinda defeat the purpose seeing as I bought so I could carry it by the handle. But it’s held up remarkably well and it’s a good binder other Ethan the ring thing. Lots of space but if you are going to but it for school the chrome books from a lot of the schools won’t fit with their cases on. But I would recommend it for you.
