Works Well..As Long as You Remember Which Side is UP
I'm a stickler for presentation when I take the time to cook, so I wanted pancakes that looked Instagram-worthy XD and bought these silicon rings to try to get my oblong, oval flapjacks into a more uniform, circular shape. First use was a disaster, though, because I inadvertently set them on the griddle upside down. I must not have been paying too close of attention to the directions insert, which shows the right way to place them. You'll know which way is wrong because they won't set very well and when you go to "jiggle" them to see if the rings can be removed to flip your 'cakes, they won't slide off well and will leave a mess of batter to slide down the sides of the cooked bottom portion of the 'cake. Word of Advice: Look at the insert that comes with these to see the correct placement. Would be nice if they embossed the words "This Side Up/This Side Down" around the rings, because I keep forgetting to check when I make pancakes. One more note: On my Presto electric griddle, you don't see the telltale air bubbles on the top when they're ready to flip when using these. I have almost burned pancakes waiting for the air bubbles that never really showed up. You'll get something that *Looks* like it's about to become an air bubble, but that's about it (and might be too late, once you wait for those "not quite" air bubbles). So, just keep a close eye on these. The thickness of the 'jacks deceives you when trying to gage when they're ready to be flipped.Other than those two points, I really like how perfectly round and thick these rings make pancakes. Haven't tried them with eggs, yet, but pancakes are delicious when done right!

Perfect for making Egg Sandwichs
I have been using the egg rings for almost a year about 4 times a week. They works like a dream as long as you don't use extra large or jumbo eggs. I put the rings in the pan while its preheating and when ready to cook the eggs, I brush the edges of the rings with butter to minimize egg sticking. If some egg sticks to the ring, it always washes clean in the dishwasher. I have two, two-ring sets one for home and one for the camper. The handles are nice but get in the way, if you tilt them sideways they get too hot to touch. The handles can be easily removed, but it requires touching the hot rings if the eggs don't easily come out. The eggs would cook better and faster if I had a lid that covered the rings. After putting the eggs in the rings, put a table spoon of water next to the rings and cover. The steam generated will cook the top side of the eggs without need to turn over. These blue rings are a significant improvement over the previously purchased red rings.

Good for careful adults, not kids due to metal handle burn risk
Ok - don't always work (sometimes egg spills out) and the little silicon pads in the handle pop out - and those need to encompass more of the metal handle/part that wraps around it cause easy to burn yourself, need to be careful just to lift in the middle of that tiny thing. But we still use regularly.

Great tool for a yummy breakfast!
I have used these silicone egg molds multiple times to make McDonald’s egg McMuffins at home (Canadian bacon and egg and cheese on a Thomas English Muffin) and I do really like them. I think there’s a learning curve to figure out how to get the egg to leak out less (I have yet figured out how to get it to NOT leak at all) but they are fairly easy to use.I butter my pan with normal butter and let it heat up. When the pan is warm, I spray the molds with butter flavored Pam spray directly over the pan (so Pam gets on the pan itself as well as the mold!) and then I press the mold down for about 1-2 minutes. I spray the pan/mold with a little more Pam for good measure while I’m pressing it down to create a “seal”.After heating the mold up I pour an egg/milk/seasoning mixture that I’ve already mixed up in my Bullet blender directly into the mold through my fingers while still holding it down with 3-4 fingers.... I then continue to hold for as long as I can stand (about 2-5 minutes?). When I release I end up with a little spillage but I’ll scrape that off when the egg mold is a little more formed.I put a tiny bit of water in the pan and cook it slowly on LOW heat. The most important thing I’ve found is that you need to cook these LOW and SLOW! Let the mold form!I scrape off the excess before it cooks/burns and toss it. When the mold has formed I’ll remove the silicone molding and cook the egg patty on the other side for a short period of time and then I melt a slice of cheese on top.I have tried using a blended egg that was all egg and it did not taste good... I definitely recommend and egg/little milk mixture with seasonings of choice (I use onion powder, garlic powder, Everything But the Bagel seasoning, salt and pepper).I’m glad I found these... they do make a nice breakfast! The little handle is helpful to remove the silicone mold when it’s time. Cleaning is a breeze too.

Flat out doesn’t work!
I’ve never written a review the first day I received a product. I’m making an exception in this case! I should have paid attention to previous reviews! It flat out doesn’t work! It is a total waste of money! The second I poured my scrambled egg batter into the olive oil coated mold, it leaked out all around the bottom. I was prepared, though, with a spatula that I used to press down on the top of the ring. DIDN’T WORK! Tried using my fingers. No success. Wound up pulling it off and creating my own ‘egg patty’ for my biscuit sandwich! I suppose I could use these in a ring toss game!

not as listed
The listing states (pack of 4)Don't believe it. There are only 2 egg rings. This was very expensive for what you get. I returned then and ordered from another seller to get my pack of 4 egg rings
