This USB WiFi adapter works great and was very easy to set up. I plugged it into my PC and it connected almost immediately without any issues. The signal is strong and stable, even from a decent distance from the router. I’ve been using it for browsing, streaming, and online gaming, and the connection has been fast and reliable with no random disconnects. The antenna design definitely helps improve the range compared to smaller adapters.

I thought I was gonna need to install drivers to make it work like the adapter I had gotten originally for my desktop nearly SEVEN years ago (It's been that long). But no, I just plugged it in and it works. I got this because suddenly while using my desktop, the one I have, it was on that has a USB wire you plug into the desktop stopped working. My iPad worked so I ordered this. Then I went back on my desktop and troubleshot with the old one cause I wanted to get it working and...it did. But I still got this cause it was overnight and I might not have been able to cancel it. Backstory aside, I'm glad I got this, so now I have a new WiFi Adapter and there's far less cables I need to deal with. There's been no lag. Or signal drop. It works as well as the old one. I can't tell if it's faster, but it isn't slower. My desktop is Windows 10. And it worked right out of the box. I would recommend this.

Used on old computers - excellent. No heat, used on high speed verizon fiber optic home system; ideo, music, browsing. Fiber optic is 1,000; this brings in 250 up and 250 down on old refurb windows 10 models. Easy to set up. Can be taped to a wall. Have used 10 ft. USB connections. Does streaming, etc. Highly functional. I have 3. The arms can move around to get the best reception. I have one taped to a high wall, totally flat, and another on top of a bookcase with arms up. Just plug and play on windows 10.

I was fully convinced my PC just was not good. It struggled with connecting to the internet every day, and would randomly cut out. Ever since I got this adapter- it hasn't cut out ONCE other than when the actual internet is down. I plugged it in, and that was it- and it's worked ever since! The only downside is the size, and orientation of the usb. My USBs are vertical, so plugging this in pretty much takes up any nearby slots. However, its compatibility with my computer, AND the additional range it gives me makes up for it. Super happy with this purchase!

My wifi card on an HP Desktop failed, this seemed like the cheapest and easiest solution. I removed the bad card from my computer, this was a plug and play for me. Super easy, works great. I just installed it so I can't speak to the longevity, but I see no reason why it shouldn't last a long time. No issue with drivers on Windows 11, I did double check on the network devices and it said I had the lates drivers for this. Identifying it as a Realtek adapter.

Up and running! It comes with the driver on a little cd. The instructions are exact. One thing threw me: After I installed it I read that I could check under Network Adapters to see if it was listed. I saw a different set of numbers than I was expecting but they turned out to be the same thing. Also, don't be in a hurry...the installation takes several minutes during which your screen will blank out a few times. Just follow the screen prompts when they show up. It was easy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: WOW!! I am amazed the speed I have now in my back bedroom desktop. I was using a single plug in USB WIFI receiver for the past 5 years. While it still works, I ran across this 2 antenna type and read the reviews, and they were not lying. I was so frustrated with my wifi before and was looking around to change carrier, but perhaps my old antenna just wore out. This is instant now where as before, sometimes I could count to 5 before things would happen. Easy installation, I just plugged it in. No special USB, no using the disc that came with it, nothing, it just took over. It was alright for the time it was strong it lasted me 10 months before I had to upgrade, easy to install, plug in and go, it connected to my wifi just fin, strong signal ,blooth and functionality it was good, I was using it for my laptop at the time, make sure you read All reviews!
