Yes, it contains Octocrylene which is bad for coral reefs. However, they do not state it is coral reef safe. Any of these chemicals is bad for coral reefs: Octocrylene, Benzophenone, Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane, Hexyldecanol, cetyl dimethicone, methylparaben, polyethylene, Propylparaben, Butylcarbamate.

Q: Could you spray this on your hair occasionally, particularly when gardening for hours on a hot, sunny day? (To protect color treated from fading)

Yes you can apply it to your hair/ scalp!!I do it often when I'm in the sun however it is not a spray it is a very nice cream that'll go on your hair or scalp but smooths nicely and leaves no film . We love it and use it all the time outside.
