According to the Canon website you will need the adapter ring for the 100mm 2.8L IS macro lens, just like it is required when using the old MR14 which is the one I have.

If you mean a Canon EF 24-105mm F4L IS USM lens, it uses 77mm filters, so that you would need a 77mm macrolite adapter, which doesn't actually exist. Your best bet would be a 77-72 step down adapter with a 72mm macrolite adapter. It is worth noting, however, that the 24-105L is not a macro lens, so that it doesn't make a lot of sense to use it with the MR14EXII macro flash with it. The macro flash has limited power, which doesn't properly light up subjects far away from the lens.

Q: Has anyone found a lens cap that fits this adapter?

I do not know of any lens cap specifically designed for this adapter BUT it is likely that a "generic" lens cap designed for 67 mm diameter may fit.
