Brass Misting Nozzles 0.016" Orifice (0.4mm) 10/24 UNC, Water Mister Parts Fog Nozzles for Patio Misting System Outdoor Cooling System (40pcs)

Recently, we had a month of over 100-degree temperatures. I built a water misting system to keep my chickens cool. I debated whether to use smaller size orifice nozzles or these. I'm glad I chose these. They emit a droplet large enough to reach the ground even when a soft breeze is blowing. The chickens love it!

You can never have enough mister nuzzles. Either for building several mister systems, or replacements.Of all the tools I have, I still had to purchase a 10-24 NC tap and a #25 drill bit.They can be screwed into the wall of schedule 40 PVC, without any special coupler. However they do not have a fine sediment filter to prevent clogging. I either ran them in a vertical position or an upward direction to help keep any particles from dropping into and clogging the small opening.Purchasing a large number at a time is, sometimes more cost affective and convenient to have extras on hand. However I may still order another quantity of them.

Product is great and price is good!! Easy to install and fit great with a good spray of mist!! The only thing is I didn’t get them for over a month when it said prime delivery in 2 days. It took so long I forgot I ordered and needed some asap and got some at a local hardware store!! I called Amazon customer service and they refunded my money and I was able to keep the product for free!! Can’t beat that but if you need it now. I don’t know how dependable they are!!

I received my order within 2 weeks, which was good considering the longer shipping times. I purchased 2 packs for a total of 80 misters. At roughly $0.50 each I throw them out when they clog due to my very hard water. It's much easier than trying to clean them. Also the .4 mm last longer than the .3 mm before clogging.

Good product works well and good price

These heads are crap, they only last a couple days before I neednro change them out for new ones...they clog easily...not worth the money

Garbage, used almost the whole package to find working nozzles. Wish this crap wasn’t sold on Amazon.

These were just tossed loose into the Amazon mailer. Like bulk product taken from some bin. Don't know if they work yet. One star because they should be advertised as a bulk product not in a package.
