Q: Is this safe to use with hot beverages like the Starbucks double walled plastic cups?

We have been using ours for coffee for many years. Cups keep beverages hot for a long time. Love ours, won’t go back to ceramic coffee cups. We have the Tervis mugs and 16oz tumblers. We use both for coffee and tea.

Q: Does it fit in and old car's cupholder?

Not sure what you mean by old, but I thought most cupholders are the same size. And mine fits my cars just fine.

Q: I want to buy the 24 oz tumbler. The lid will be for the 24 oz size? Too many complaints about that issue, not sure if it was corrected

My issues with the lid were for the cup with the handle. Not with this one. The regular lid accommodates a straw anyway. I didn’t even need the special straw lid
