I love using this instead of my large colander. It works well on all my different pots, even the small ones. Saves lots of space in my dishwasher.

This item is a is a great concept. Unfortunately, it only works on pots that have a lip around the edge, otherwise there is nothing for it to grip on,

I love the idea of this product. As a small business owner, I always wish the best and great success for new products. However, this product, while the idea is great, does not work as currently designed.The first time I used it, I made tacos and tried to strain ground beef, the strainer went on okay, although a little difficult to put on a hot pot. It stayed on for a few seconds, but as a titled the pot a little more to get all the grease out, the strainer popped off and the ground beef dropped into my sink. Thankfully I had thought ahead and put some cheesecloth in the sink just in case the strainer did not work.I decided to give the strainer a second chance. I made Sloppy Joe's. I put on the strainer and once again, put cheesecloth in my sink just in case. Once again, the strainer popped off and the ground beef dropped into the sink. The strainer went straight into the garbage.The problem with the design is that there is no gripping mechanism. The actual strainer portion is all plastic, when there should be some kind of silicone to grip the lip of the pan or pot. Also, the clip is not a clip at all. It has a very tiny protruding piece of plastic that is supposed to grab the pan and hot it in place, when it should be an actual small silicone clip to actually hold onto the pan or pot.Unfortunately, while the idea of this strainer is great, with it's current design flaws, I highly recommend against purchasing this product. I hope the designer makes improvements to make this a more sturdy and reliable product, at which time I would purchase it and give it another chance. However, at this time, unless you like throwing your money in the garbage, I would not order this product.

Thought this would be a great strainer, but it doesn't hold to the pan very well. Slipped off of every pot or pan I tried using it on. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

I must admit when I first saw the colander, I thought it looked pretty flimsy. But then I put it to use. I was worried it wouldn't hold under the weight, but it did great. I was really surprised and very pleased. For anyone who has the displeasure of using a handheld colander only to have it slip on you, this is your solution. ......After reading some of the negative reviews, I went and looked at my pans. They do have lips on them which allows for a secure attachment. I found a non lipped pan and found that the attachment wasn't nearly as secure. So I do recommend this product, but only with the use of lipped pans.

Great for straining meat, rice, veggies. I also like that it is so easy to clean and compact for storage. I have purchased several as gifts for my friends.

Great concept but it just slid off with the weight of the food behind it.

This didn't work well. Your pot needs to be made a certain way to allow the hook to work. And if there is more weight than it can handle, "plop" your item is in the sink, or floor with all the liquid. There is a stainless steel hand held one for left or right handed people. That one is 5 star. This ended in the trash.
