Surprisingly Delicious and Kid-Approved!
I recently tried Beyond Meat Beyond Beef Plant-Based Ground, and I was pleasantly surprised! We made a simple yet delicious pasta dish with peas, carrots, and broccoli in a light tomato sauce, and the Beyond Beef blended in beautifully. The texture was light yet satisfying, with a mild, meat-like consistency that worked well in the dish. What truly made this a win was my three young children (all under 7) devouring it with enthusiasm—no questions asked! Finding plant-based options that the whole family enjoys can be a challenge, but this one definitely delivered. A great choice for anyone looking for a tasty, versatile, and family-friendly meat alternative!Would definitely buy again!

In regards the "dog food" reviews.
Yes. this product seems to effect some small % of people (including myself). If you are thinking of trying this don't worry about the bad reviews.. just try it for yourself.(my review) Oh my god.. when i first smelled it it was very unpleasant. It smelled like I just opened a can of cat/spam food. I couldn't get over that smell.. it stayed with me as I cooked... but I am a brave guy. I eat anything and just don't get grossed out.First day:Cook a burger patty. Everytime I took a bite an extremely unpleasant odor enters first and let me tell you... I wish I can explain it. It's just really off putting. Again, I am a brave guy.. don't care. I continue eating 1 very unpleasant bite after another.Ok. So I am done with the burger... now I have this very unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth the entire night. It was awful... really, really awful (my constant burping did not help.)Day 2: I am going to do this again differently. Open the bag (that awful weird smell hits me first) Oh my god. it is so awful because it is nothing like I have experienced before... ok. So this time I have indian spices... My goal is to kill the aftertaste. I added enough curry to kill an indian bengal tiger.... sadly, that aftertaste is right there. No day 3. I threw it in the garbage. I am not that brave. In conclusion. I think this effects a small % (from the reviews it seems like around 5%) of people that eat it experience the cat/dog food sensation. The rest of the population don't seem affected.it's a shame because the texture was in my opinion perfect and I am leaving a 5 star review because I wish them all the best.Don't listen to anyone.. try it for yourself.

Took a chance with soyfree "meat"
I definitely will do an update next time I reorder because I intend to soon. Today I made two very thick burgers with it and it was absolutely delicious, exactly like the real beef burgers! Texture and flavor was on cue, I'm still shocked!! Now I was a little cautious due to other reviews mentioning that bad smell, because I'm one of those people who have a weird sense of smell and certain scents affect me tremendously, but I didn't get any off putting experience from the product whatsoever. This makes me wonder if these poor souls actually got a bad batch, even that one guy that apparently bought two packs with the same smelly issues.I'll update my review in about a week along with pictures because it's a shame these people missed out on such a well formulated vegan product that's even SOY FREE!! There're many terrible vegetarian options out there that only true meat haters would eat and the rest of us just tolerate because either we have no choice due to allergies etc but this "meat" is not just okay, it's so delicious!UPDATE: Couple months later and every week I buy at least 1 package, sometimes I get a couple of the burger shaped packages and I am still having a great experience. The burger shaped sizes are easy to keep stocked frozen. Just plop them on a hot pan straight from the freezer and before you know it, it's done! I cook mine with a touch of balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.

It’s a good substitute.
I appreciate this company’s effort to provide meat alternatives, and the quality has been improved with the use of avocado oil. Makes it healthier, but it would be better if they offered a product with less ingredients and/or made organic. With that being said, whenever I was to make the dishes I loved involving ground beef, this Beyond Meat product is my go to. Closest thing out there.

Very tasty!
Tasty! We use it to make dishes others would put meat in, like spaghetti sauce, tacos, enchiladas, soup! Great flavor and Texture and season it as you wish! Highly recommend! Ingredients you can understand like pea protein and lentil protein! Overall healthy meat alternative with 20 grams of protein, no soy for those who can’t eat soy! I don’t miss meat with this available!

A great alternative
I am so glad this company continues to produce meat alternative products for those of us who love a great burger and wurst, but have to lean away from red and processed meat. I treat it like it is a pound of ground round and the red meat eaters in my house look forward to veggie burger night each week.

Hits the spot
When I first got this I was quite hyped seeing the reviews and the packaging thinkng they may have finally gotten a beef clone. After mildly cooking it I was dissapointed to taste the same taste that I tasted in another protein plant based burger that I had that is quite obviousally different than beef.I put it away and came back to it a few days later in order to fiinish it before it expires. This time I had a different experience. So what if it doesn't taste exactly like beef and you can identify the difference? That doesn't make it better or worse. Although it has a distinct flavor, it hits the right spots and satisfies any craving youd have for it. Honestly, if all my beef, if I was stll a meat eater was changed to this, I wouldn't even care. This makes me quite optimistic of meat subsitutes which I didn't have in the past. In the past it felt like these meat subsistutes were merely there to help psychologically with the withdrawel symptoms, but honestly this makes me feel like I can have my cake and eat it ,
