Yes it does. There is a small dial on the left side. This dial is the gain control.

Q: Can it be used with wireless microphones/receivers?

Yes. You would just need a mic cable to connect the wireless receiver’s output into the input of the VoiceTone. Then another mic cable out of the VoiceTone and into your mixer or amp.
