Q: can it be used as an atomizer for disinfecting?

We are currently using this sprayer for disinfecting. It does very well at providing a fine mist . The adjustment on the trigger adjusts the volume of product that is sprayed and we had to turn this out all the way to get the pattern we needed. Once we made the adjustment the adjusting screw would not stay in place. The spring didn't have enough tension to maintain the setting. We remedied this by wrapping a strip of duct tape around the trigger and adjustment knob once we had it set. Now we can grab it and go. We have used it for roughly 7 months now and it has certainly held up to the task. I feared the disinfectant chemicals would eat this sprayer alive but to my surprise it is still working as designed.

Q: Could this be used with plasti dip?

It's for painting as a tool. But it does come with a course insert for thick liquids so if can mite thin some may just do the trick.
