THEY DID NOT PREVENT THE AREA BETWEEN MY THUMB AND POINTER FINGER FROM FEELING THE HEAT. I BELIEVE IT'S BECAUSE THERE IS NO SILICONE IN THAT AREA. THAT'S WHY I GAVE IT A 4 STARI JUST USE MY 3 FINGER HEAT RESISTANCE UNDER THIS GLOVE FOR EXTRA PROTECTION.
