Plastics 2000 Lexan Sheet - Polycarbonate - .060" - 1/16" Thick, Clear, 12" x 12" Nominal

I had ordered a lantern online. When it was delivered, I was disappointed to find that one of the large glass panels had broken. I ended up buying 3 polycarbonate sheets and replaced all the panels in the lantern because I didn't want to have a broken mess in a house with young kids. I couldn't cut through the sheet with a x-acto knife even though I made several passes. I ended up just using metal snips/metal cutting shears and was able to get a straighter cut. I did get scratched, so be aware that edges can be sharp and you might want to sand it smooth depending on your needs. I included a picture so you can see that it looks exactly like glass--very sheer and glossy (note the reflection), but more durable. The sheet thickness (1/16") is like a glass panel used in picture frames. I am very happy with this product, and plan on buying more to replace the broken glass in my picture frames.

Every time I order this stuff it always has scratches in the protective plastic they put over the clear sheet. Not really a big deal but they could put it in bubble wrap so it’s truly protected. Other than that I use this for Airsoft to protect my optic and flashlight from getting shot out and though the thicker stuff is more durable, this works perfect. I’ve never had a bb ever penetrate this even when I tested it at point blank range. This stuff is break resistant but scratches very easily.

Perfect for my custom shadow box project! It’s clear (crystal clear), like clean glass, and durable. Measurements are slightly less than 12” so plan accordingly. I noticed that it has some flexibility when I ran it under hot water. Great packaging, it’s protected on both sides with peel-off film. Highly recommend!

They worked great as spacers for my die cutting machine

I ordered a wall clock from Amazon that came with a cracked glass face. I was issued a refund but was allowed to keep the broken clock. I decided to try this Lexan to replace the glass and it worked. I used a jigsaw to cut it. Now the clock has an indestructible face. So time, effort, and cost to repair the clock but worth it.

Good but did not work for me.

A little pricey, but thin lexan is harder to find. Arrived on time and well packed. Easily cut (I used my bandsaw) going slowly had no cracks or chips. Would definitely buy again when needed.

Perfect! It was easy enough to cut without special equipment. Works great for my Faux stained glass project! (The mermaid is supposed to have the golden egg in her hands, I just havent added it yet)
