Q: I'm confused about the 4ohm, some say yes some say no. i'd like to get the pioneer elite sp-ebs73 speakers that some say req 4ohm?

Hello Carlson275, yes this receiver is 4 ohm stable. You will have to change the SPEAKER IMPEDANCE from the default of 6 OHMS to 4 OHMS when using the SP-EBS73 speakers with this receiver. - MM
