I have had one of these for over 5 years. I get out a lot and it has never failed me, so i bought a new one for my newest kit. Working great

Amazing EDC pen!
Love this pen, I use it everyday for quick notes and general writing. The size is perfect for a pocket or small notebook and since it is refillable you can experiment with a different variety of colors and thicknesses. The pen life has been super long so far but I would look into different refills because the writing quality is kinda blotchy (not a fountain pen).

Still the best pocket pen.
I have been carrying these for years. It's good to see they are still well made and sold at a reasonable price.

I love this pen!
This pen is great! Writes on anything I have tried so far (even those waxy like receipts from stores) with no problems at all. Often times I need to jot down notes or ideas and I always keep this in my pocket. It is so small when closed I don't even notice it in my front pocket! That being said though... at first I was keeping this in my front pocket with the clip. Bad decision as I often ride a bicycle for commuting and I actually lost it somewhere and was not able to find it! I ordered a second one because I loved the pen so much! I did order this exact same model (with the clip) because even though I don't use the clip in my pants pocket anymore (I think they/Fisher should make the clip with some kind of hook design on the end so that it makes sure that you mean to detach it from something rather than just sliding it off) I still don't feel it at all down in my pocket! It just disappears (mostly disappears - if it ends up sitting sideways in your pocket, depending on the pocket style on the pants, it might be felt some when you go to sit down - otherwise I don't really even feel it at all and sometimes I have to check to make sure it's still there.)If you want a reliable pen that is small when closed, regular sized when open, writes smooth and consistently with no skips, is precisely machined, has good looks and comes with a clip (I recommend using the clip on jacket arm pockets as seen on flight suits, pilot jackets, or pockets in shirts/dress shirts - Not clipped to pant pockets) then I recommend getting one of these pens. Comes in many intriguing colors to boot!Hope my opinion helps others!

Another replacement for a Space pen
This probably my fifth Space bullet pen. My only complaint is that I keep losing them (read: my wife keeps picking them up and putting them in her purse(s) )

Great EDC pen, versatile and portable
UPDATE 06/21: I've carried this pen everyday since March 16 (now June 21) and the clip has never moved, in the slightest. Five Star rating still stands.Perfect EDC (Every Day Carry) pen. At work I carry it in my trouser pocket, at play I carry it in my fifth pocket. It's barely noticeable while carrying and changes to a full size pen when the cap is placed. The pen is thin, like a traditional BIC pen, and the clip keeps it from rolling off desks. The infamous clip: I've carried the pen everyday since March 16th (now April 8th) and the clip has never moved, doesn't feel like it's going to move nor does it feel like it's going to snap/break. Maybe Fisher slides them on tighter than before during manufacturing, maybe I got lucky, maybe some others got unlucky, who knows. Remember, I use the clip daily. FYI, there are replacement clips available. The cap: There's some reviews that claim the cap is loose. I've tried violently shaking the pen holding just the cap (thinking forcing ketchup out of a bottle) in it's closed and open position and it didn't move. Either people don't know how to put the pen cap on properly or their rubber o-ring is damaged, compromising the seal it creates when the pen is closed. Here's a tip: when you take off or put on the cap, do it while twisting the cap. It's that much easier to take off the cap and it creates a better seal when closing it.The ballpoint: The pen writes better than most ballpoint pens but don't try to compare it to a Mont Blanc or something of that nature. I'll order one soon but many have said the fine point ink cartridge writes several steps above the medium ink cartridge, which ships with the pen.Writeability(?)/clogging: Some reviews mention clogging and skipping. I use the pen every day, several times a day and I've never come across this. When I use my pen for the first time in the morning, it gets right to writing without any delay. I think others have a faulty cartridge; I know someone who's contacted Fisher about this and was sent a replacement cartridge, free of charge. And yes, it works great upside down, on greasy paper (WD-40) and on wet paper (spilled water bottle). It even wrote on a white subway tile (kitchen back-splash).Portability: This pen defines portability. I saw a complaint about the pen not having a key ring; reviewer should have looked at the Fisher trekker Space Pen.TIP: Fisher warranties this pen much like Zippo warranties their lighters; if there is anything mechanically wrong with the pen, send it in and they will repair or replace it. The Fisher website has more details.I've included two pictures for size comparison.
