Hanson 8463 Die 7/8-14 1 13/16 NF Sh, for Tap Die Extraction

I was trying to find a way to thread a 7/8" rod without having to take it to a machine shop or put it on a lathe. This die did just the job! It saved me from having to spend a lot of money on purchasing a replacement part. Just take your time and use plenty of cutting oil and you should get the results you're looking for. I didn't have a handle large enough to put in so I used a pipe wrench, not optimal but if I can do it with a pipe wrench then I can only imagine how much better it should work with the right handle.

I have only used this die for chasing existing threads, but it did that with ease. I feel confident that this die would cut Threads equally as well at a good price for this size die.

Performed well. Gave four stars because the price is kinda steep considering what it is, all it is. Other than that it will do the job.

Bought this to clean up an rcbs reloading die.... Worked as a expected

Brand new, no sign of prior use. Cleaned up distorted threads as it should. Saved me from buying a new piece.
