Boost Your Mind Power Can Change Your Life
I picked up a copy of "Boost Your Mind Power" by Colin G. Smith the other day and was expecting another rehashed book on strengthening the mind. I couldn't believe all the great information that was in this book. Smith covers many areas in the book that are important to consider for anyone's mental health and well being such as, Motivational Secrets, Self Esteem and Personal Power, Eliminating Fear & Anxiety, Creative Problem Solving, Meditations, Health & Healing and a lot more...Each of the above mentioned topics are covered in a step by step manor which makes it easy to follow and implement the strategies the author is trying to convey. I really loved the "Quick Diet Changer 2" technique and how to change your thoughts from the foods you love and transfer them with the healthy foods that are good for you. I also enjoyed the "Anxiety Removal Machine" and how it can help anyone overcome anxiety. Great for students, business people that have deadlines or presentations.All in all I was greatly surprised to see such a good book for such a cheap price. I highly recommend this book to anyone that would like to better their lives and strengthen, overcome and replace bad situations with positive ones with these awesome mind techniques. The techniques were simple to implement and can give you a higher quality of life if you decide to implement them.

Mind Power
What an interesting, valuable book! Designed to help the reader lift himself up by his own bootstraps. I never knew there were so many concrete, practical exercises that can help to change one's attitudes, mindset and motivation.For instance - Like most people, I'd heard that visualization is a powerful tool for accomplishing one's goals. But this book spells out exactly what aspects and exercises go into effective visualization and what questions you need to ask yourself when visualizing. Where are you in time and space and what information are all your senses feeding you in your vision/goal? "Boost Your Mind Power" teaches you how to figure these things out so that you will be able to recreate them at will.This book needs to be studied and the lessons need to actually be followed and internalized. You can not reap this book's benefits merely from reading it, any more than you can build a strong athletic body simply by reading a book about exercise.Learning how your own mind works is the first step toward learning how to gain control over it and its potent mind/body connection. This in turn is the first step toward a much richer, enjoyable life. I heartily recommend this book. But only if you are ready and willing to do the work.

Change your mind!
Fantastic book on empowering your mind. The author has written a simple but powerful resource for taking control of your mind. All of the techniques are laid out with easy steps anyone can follow. The book is not filled with a lot of information you don't need. The author gets right to the point and shows you how to do the task at hand. There is such a wealth of information in this little book you will want to use it over and over as a reference guide. I love that the table of contents is set up with a headings and subheadings so you can easily find what you are looking for. I especially liked the to-do list idea. Make a short to-do list before going to bed and let your mind work on it while you sleep. Talk about multi-tasking! Putting your negative thoughts into a garbage can and deleting them is also one I am going to put to use. The book is filled with "I've got to try this" ideas. Loved the book and want to read more from this author. Highly recommended to everyone.

I Used to Say, "The Waist is a Terrible Thing to Mind"
But now that I've read this book, my mantra has changed to...that's right...you've got it..."Think before you act"! And having read this book, I now think much more quickly, thoroughly, and completely. My memory has improved to the point where it was years ago before it was seemingly irreparably damaged during my many visits to the fume laden nail salons to receive my weekly mani-pedi. My recall synapses fire so quickly, it's like shooting a bullet at a target and then moving to the target to to wait for and watch the projectile pass by. I'm learning much more quickly, and I'm able to multi-task unlike ever before. To give you an idea, I'm writing this while landing my Cessna Citation at O'Hare and brewing a cup of my favorite designer coffee next to my seat. There...touched down on the numbers. See! Check it out. You'll be amazed. "O'Hare ground, Citation 8433 Echo clear of twenty-two left requests taxi to Signature" Oh...sorry...wrong lobe! BTW, a mind is a terrible thing to waste!

Boost Your Mind Power today with this book.
Wow is all I have to say. I enjoyed this book because it is full of actionable content. One can easily pick up the book, find a section they want to work on, and then immediately begin practicing exercises that will improve your life.Another reason I like this book is that I have been reading books that speak about the importance of making changes to the non-conscious mind. All of the books I have read that touch on this crucial point have a handful of techniques one can use. Since those books are covering other areas, they are not able to spend a lot of time in this area. This book is a total deep dive into that area and chalked full of information I have been looking for.I highly recommend this book for anyone that is interested in making a change in their life (no matter the area) and are interested in long term, sustainable results.

Lots to offer
I found some of these ideas quite useful but was a bit overwhelmed by the increasingly complex options that were offered. Someone else will probably get a lot out of them. At 78 I'm just not that detail oriented anymore or have a need to keep track of all that much. I'll just write it down :)

An excellently-planned and accessible book full of help for all occasions and concerns.

First Class Material, Very Well Organised
This is an excellent book, which covers all the NLP and Waking Hypnosis bases with clear, sequential instructions. There are some tried and tested techniques as well as some innovative new approaches, and from experience I know that this stuff works brilliantly when you apply it in the right system, which the author explains precisely and intelligently. An essential guide for both self-help enthusiasts as well as professional therapists and practitioners. Great stuff, well executed!
