The light output (single mode only) of this unit is less compared with high mode of "VicTec 1800Lm CREE T6 LED AAA/18650 Diving Swimming Headlamp Headlight Light" but seemed a bit brighter compared with the low mode of the same.The on-off switch can easily be broken off if too much pressure/push is applied. This can be avoided by making sure you turn the switch always less than 45 degrees w/c is more than enough to turn the unit on.I will test the 'waterproof' part later and update the review once done.*** Update 2015-Apr-25 ***Tested by dunking in about 2ft of water and vigorously shaking/moving it while under water. No water got in.A fully charged battery set (4x2800nimh) lasts about 2 hours on high mode.
