I want to start this review by stating I tried as hard as I could to do this solution in AC versus DC. The original logic was to take advantage of my existing ac low voltage yard system and timer etc. The original motivator for switching is that 1 ac light costs the same as this whole package. My application is two sets of deck stairs. Once I made the decision to DC, I could not be happier. The lights are extremely well made and designed. The lights, connections between lights and the transformer are completely waterproof. Also, as stated the lights appear to be a good quality stainless steel. I bought a Forstner 32mm drill bit on amazon and the holes are a perfect fit. Note: for the B109 model I also bought a Woods two outlet outdoor timer, as I am not a fan of dusk to dawn. This manufacturer has a lot of light size, wattage and lumen options. I bought the B109, which are are pretty bright. I put 3 per tread in 50 inch wide risers and 2 per tread in 40 inch. The 40 inch goes down to a patio and I have the same manufacturer's dimmer, which I will update after installed. I used a normal outdoor extension cord to get to my timer for one set of lights...no problem. Update 12/11/17 I added the dimmer to the step lights going down to a patio. This dimmer is remote controlled, installed in 10 minutes. The remote has many options including on/off, so my needs are more then well met. Very well designed device.

These deck lights are fantastic! They add a warm, inviting glow to my garden path and really make the outdoor area feel more elegant. The lights are bright enough to illuminate my walkway without being overwhelming, and the warm white color is very soothing. I was also impressed with the quality, the stainless steel build is sturdy, and it has shown no signs of rust even after several rainstorms.

These worked great until they were installed. I tested them in the location before installing them and they worked great. Later that night, they went offline - I have tried to reset them multiple times according to the directions, but it rarely works. When they do work, they remain unresponsive to the app on my phone. I ordered two sets of lights, and I've even tried swapping out the transformer and wifi box to no avail. If I didn't have holes in my deck, I'd send them back.

Great product overall. I am using for down lighting on the soffit around my garage. I would give it a five star but it is not quite as bright as I had hoped or the pictures make it appear.

Purchased these deck lights to install in my front porch steps..the lights are very bright and waterproof.seems durable too. Installation was easy.Good buy.Thinking of buying more.

I wasn't planning to write a review but since 1) I have a small problem (one of my lights is defective), and 2) I have another problem in not being about to contact the seller, I'm writing this review. Maybe 60% satisfied. And where is the seller's customer service team? I had to order the product three times to get one that worked 2. Once the holes will all drilled into the deck (not trivial - all the deck boards needed to be drilled through, pried open and reached behind - took hours), I had to redo the wiring (took more hours) because not all the lights were showing the right colors, working my way backwards from the farthest string to the string closets to the transformer. I think I might not have had the positive and negative properly aligned. 3. I don't see a timer on the remote control, so that the lights can be programmed to go on at 8 PM and turn off at midnight (and not be on 24/7? 4. I want to buy a replacement light but another (single!) one costs a whopping $22! A pack of ten costs $90. I looked for other sellers who might sell the same product but gave up after 15 minutes. I look forward to hearing back from customer service.

In 2018, 6 years ago, I installed these in 1-1/2" concrete pavers, packed the electrical connections with Silicone grease before setting the pavers in the ground. Hooked it up to a Landscape Lighting Transformer (ASIN B01C2D8SGU) Set it for on at dusk, off at dawn. Has worked perfectly ever since. These fit flush to the surface. Give off a nice light. Highly recommended.

The manufacturer has not gone through the process to have these lights approved for use in Canada. Not a problem if you are installing them on your own house. Quite a problem if you are installing them as a contractor for a client. The electrical inspector will reject it and your permit will not be closed. The solution is to pay a bunch of money to a testing agency yourself to get approval. A nasty surprise and a pain in the ass process. However, the lights and the whole system are very nice to install and look great.

Our family uses amazon for a lot of items. Dealing with this seller has been awesome, he/she answered all my questions in a timely manner most times within minutes. Out of the box the items work as advertised, I will be installing these lights on the weekend and will take pictures once it’s done. I’m happy with the price and the items. Big box stores charge around 25 bucks per light not including the transformer. I bought the 20 light set in the event that one or two stop working. Will definitely buy from this seller again. Installed this yesterday! FYI, if you want to save some money without having to buy additional longer wires and you want to space the lights apart and you don’t mind a little extra work do the following: Buy outdoor 18/4 thermostat wire or similar, cut the end connections from the lights then add some shrink tube, solder the wires to the 18/4 wire ( all colours are the same with the exception of the blue wire from the lights, connect the blue wire to the white wire on the 18/4 line, after soldering the wires heat up the shrink tube to seal the connections add a little of the good old electrical tape and that’s all! Took extra time but it beats spending so much more on extra connectors that retail for 50 bucks for 5 of them. I installed these lights on a finished deck so I needed help to fish the wire while I was under the deck! Anyways hope it helps, lights are nice and bright.

What is the warranty ? I love them but they stopped functioning after one year
