Worth it
Very easy to work with. Takes a little to dry depending on thickness of creation. Faint smell, no color transfer. Perfect for our purpose, would definitely buy again.

Amazing!
Great for model making! I used it for tiny models, drying time depends on the thickness, small pieces were dry within 1-2h. I was using watercolor to paint multiple little details, it looks awesome!

I finally found a foam clay that will do what I need it to do
Outstanding to use for cosplay. It's been a multi-year quest to find the right kind of foam clay to use for actual grownup sculpting. This one has one of the same issues (the bubble holes) but I attribute that to it being a clay made out of literal bubbles itself, so that was expected. What I didn't expect, and was very pleasantly surprised by, was its ease of sanding. This stuff takes very well to sandpaper sculpting and dries to a hard sandable finish in about two days of drying. (So make sure you allow for time when you have a con coming up in a few days, speaking from experience here) as I said you'll have bubbles, but all you need to do is reapply, re-dry, and resand until you have the results you wanted. It's worth mentioning that this reapplication process is a LOT faster since you're putting it on a very dry styrofoam surface, and it's great for wicking the moisture away and it'll be ready to sand in a half a day or so. The other thing I love about it over all the other foam clay I've used is how perfect it is for acrylic paint. Two coats of high quality gesso (I use Golden) completely seals it and fills all the microbubbles to an almost glassy finish (providing you sanded to 1000 grit). I'm still working on the tail as you'll see in the photos, to get an idea of a wip, but the horns I made for my partner's Sallie May and the snake for my Rosie hat turned out with a flawless finish. I'm over the moon. I love this clay, can you tell? 👀 (You'll need a gallon ziplock for the bag though, it doesn't reseal very well on its own. So keep that in mind.) I have nothing but good things to say about it if you're using it for anything, but especially cosplay. Quest status complete.

Great for masks
Bought this to make a Venetian inspired mask for an event and it worked out great! It blends well with moistened fingers and dries relatively quickly without much shrinkage. There are some surfaces it doesn't stick to, but sanding or adding a coat of PVA glue helps. It also sands easily when dried with some fine grit sandpaper. The one drawback I noticed when working with it is that it's pretty soft and easy to accidentally damage when dried, so it's not the most durable foam clay. But for something like a mask, it was a great purchase.

Light and squishy foam clay
Very light and squishy. It's easily moldable and I've enjoyed playing around with it. This is my first foam clay purchase so I have nothing to compare it to, but it does have a chemical smell to it. Otherwise, it's great.

Had het niet verwacht maar hecht super op eva foam. Wel redelijk lange droogtijd.

I’ve never used foam clay on EVA foam before, but I tried it to bulk out our foam pumpkin for Halloween this year. Look at the result! I sealed it with a couple of coats of Mod Podge and it all went nicely shiny and smooth, then used acrylic paint brushed and some airbrushing around the mouth. A gloss vinyl seal before a wash and some drybrushing for highlights and the pumpkin’s done! I’ll definitely be using it for other projects, and hopefully will be able to do a bit of sculpting with it without having to worry about casting.

J'adore
