Q: Is the white light better than the blue one?

I think so, the blue light is terrible, if you don't mind not being able to see the pepper on your food because the whole thing is glowing blue!

Q: I have one grinder with white light and the other blue light. Am I supposed to have both?

Mine have white lights for both so not sure why you have blue but I am sure it is ok.

We recieved two. One went bad in the first month and they promptly replaced them. So far the second set has been great, but we're only 2 months in with them.
