Makes setup for practice easy.
I would buy again in an instant if mine died. I like practicing with my amps my neighbors don't. I use 6 foot headphone extension and a 6ft line in for phone/tablet line input. The good. It's cheap and has a pretty wide range from fuzz to lightly overdriven. It's loud in your ears even at the lowest volume. It's a little harsh by itself, but for playing along with music lined in from my laptop or phone it sounds great. It takes pedals well. It makes setup for practicing easy which makes it fun.The not so good but in no way deal breakers. Controls are VERY sensitive. It goes from just right in volume or distortion to too much with a little touch. Battery life is about 8+ hours with light use or about 4-5 continuous like forgetting to turn it off.

Does exactly what I needed
Works pretty well. If you are just looking for a way to play without waking the kids/neighbors for an affordable price this is it. The audio in jack is a little fuzzy at times, but I was looking for functionality, not audio perfection. I'm very happy with this, now I can practice my solos over baking tracks as late as I want.Volume works how I would expect.Gain is ok, would recommend mostly blues/crunch sound, works for metal but putting the gain too high doesn't sound great.Tone falls in line with the same function as the guitar's.

Great little amp
Eats through batteries like you wouldn't believe, my energizer rechargables only last like 3 hours before it gets quiet. Great little amp though, bought it for my dad who's getting up there in years and can hardly hear, and doesn't want to wake the neighbors up with an amp.I use it a bit too, it sounds pretty good and I love the distortion.I'm sure there are better products out there, but for the price I really couldn't see buying anything else.It sounds great.Had it almost a month now and still no issues, only thing I don't like about it is you can't plug it up to DC.

Mini Amplifier
The product was made and shipped directly from china. The arrival date on amazon said it would take approx 1 month to arrive; it took about 7 working days. I was happy with the early arrival to say the least_I bought this amp to use with headphones, so I could play as loud as I want without bothering others. It has tone, volume and overdrive adjustment dials; However, the volume dial setting is factory set so loud (on low) that using the gain overdrive is impossible to use unless you want your ears blown out!I guess you could say- I got what I wished for-LOL.The unit does work, with no "fuzz", but it does the job it was intended for.

rocking with guitar
This amp will only work with headphones or if you hook it up too some sound system. I bought this item hoping to not have to always cary around my big amp and always have to have a cord which i would always trip on. With this while I'm playing on stage nobody can hear because it only with headphones

Good for beginners
First one sent was the wrong model (Lead). Amazon corrected quickly and sent the tube model. Since I tested both, I can speak to them both. The Leads volume was a little touchy and as a beginner player the slight reverb was hard for me to play. The tube type is clean, no reverb and the controls worked well. These are very convenient to practice while the family is sleeping or watching TV. The box can get in the way on a guitar that has a side plug in. The controls are simple and the box produces plenty of volume with AAA batteries.

Quite pleased
Sound fidelity is good. Gain distortion works well. Also used as a preamplifier to audio system amp with good results.I wonder if there really is a difference in "Tube", "Metal", "English Channel", etc. sounds. Some listings show assorted types without ability to specify. This one said "Tube" and that's what arrived.Note that batteries need to be replaced. I might prefer built -in Li battery, USB chargeable. Matter of personal preference, I suppose.

Love the distortion
You'll want a good set of headphones with good bass response and an audio cable (1/8") to feed in from another sound source to make it really usable.I oriiginally bought this thinking I could practice when the kids were sleeping at night.I did get a real amp and I haven't yet grabbed an external cable (keep forgetting to take one home from church). So I haven't used this much yet so I can't comment about durability.Cranking the gain gets this great dirty sound.I run this with a passive 4 string pbass and some old fully enclosed aiwa headphones I dug up.
