Magma Products, Monterey II Infrared Gourmet Series Gas Grill, A10-1225-2GS

I purchased this grill for my daughters Sea Scout ship and it performs flawlessly. I needed something large and we have to cook for up to 20 people at times and this defiantly fits the bill. I've used this a few times using the one pound propane canisters and was able to get about 1 hours worth of cooking time off it, which I did not think it was bad for the size of the grill. I have since purchased an adapter and run it off a 20lb tank. This grill defiantly takes up a lot of room we take it off the boat to store because of the size. It fits nicely in the rod holders on the stern paired up with a 31" magma filet table that we use for serving.Once I had everything added to my cart I was a little hesitant to hit the purchase button because of the high price with all the accessories but I am glad I did. It has been one of the better purchases I have made in a while and lets face it, when talking about boats everything is expensive. It does not disappoint.

Spoke with Magma and they told me you cannot cook burger with more than 7% fat, chicken with skin, brats and other fatty meat or you could get serious flare up....OMG! That is basically what most of America cooks on grills! Do not pay extra for the infrared. It catches all grease and creates massive fires. First time out on our pontoon boat we had 5 80/20 burgers and a package of hot dogs, cooking in the 'yellow' zone. Gas was on low. It was so scary as within a couple minutes, I had rolling flames under the lid. Almost tossed the thing off the boat. Thank God I had a fire extinguisher on the boat because that is what we had to use to put the fire out!! Very disappointing! Should come with warning labels!!

This grill is fantastic!! It heats evenly and cooks everything hot and juicy all the way through without burning the outer edges. It's super easy to clean and easy to put on the boat. We bought this with the Magma pole mount and it was worth every penny!! It's easy to stow the grill under the steering wheel console of the boat and pull it out when we are ready to grill. It takes just a minute to put in the pole and set the grill on it with a click to lock it in. We can fit 10 burgers on the bottom rack and 12 hot dogs on the top rack at the same time. No more cold sandwiches for us on the boat!!

Work great abnd better them my older model. But I was very disapointed that there was nto a viewing window as advertised

The product is great, the vendor not so much. It turned out that this product had been returned and I am trying to make sure that I have everything. I would have preferred paying more and going to West Marine instead.

The package was clearly a previous return. It had the previous buyers invoice and billing information inside the box!!!It was poorly repackaged allowing the parts rattle around and create scratches knocks and small dents on the inside. The outside has surface scratches as well. Very disappointing

This is a beast! We do go through more propane but we use our grill as a primary way to cook on the boat, live this grill.
