For a traditional ab roller, this one is the one to get.I did a deep dive for ~2 hours on ab rollers, reading reviews and scrutinizing their construction. Cheap ones always have a wobbly wheel that tries to slide off the shaft. This one stays where it's supposed to, so it doesn't try and eat your hands, etc. The wider wheel helps stability for larger fellas like myself. 6' 230lbs. Sharing so other "Clydesdales" reading this can feel confident in this roller.WARNING: Be careful NOT to stress/injure your shoulders and rotator cuffs by doing this without fully stretching your body and warming up first. The ab wheel is no joke, and lets you progress from novice to gymnast as quickly as your body and skills allow...provided you don't hyperextend yourself or damage something.

My grandmother had one of these when I was a kid and the family laughed and thought it was a gimmick. Now I am 54 and have been using one for 3 days can't even go all the way out yet but my stomach muscles are killing me. I cannot do sit ups due to a bulge that forms in my stomach from having been fat for years and the muscles separating. But I can use this without the bulge forming so badly. So far it seems to be working great.

Very good grip and sturdy since it’s a bit wide. However the knee pad isn’t quite small.

Good ab workout if you focus on getting your abs to contract. Convenient knee pad and still works to this day. Easy grip and roll.

This thing is pretty tiny. Works well for me, but not my husband. He laughs at it.
