The Cream of the Crop!
I researched my options, chose this diffuser and paid full price for it. I do not have any connection with the company.I wrote the first part of this review as an answer to one of the questions about diffusing citrus oils, but I have to expand and write that this is absolutely the cream of the crop of all Essential Oil diffusers. I am so happy to have discovered Organic Aromas. Their diffuser is worth every penny. I spend enough on high-quality EOs of various brands that I don't want to waste a single drop. With this diffuser, you only have to put in a few drops, turn it on and you can immediately see the vapor rise and dissipate into the air. Other reviewers have already put up great pics and video showing this.I'm dividing my thoughts:Scent Flow: I use this at home at roughly the midpoint of our open-concept combined kitchen/breakfast-/family room (44'L x 16'W x 10'H) and the scent reaches the furthest corners within 1-2 minutes. I could Never get that effect with any plastic water-misting diffuser, no matter how long they were on. (Plastic water-misters do have their uses, though. I put them in the kids' rooms when the kids have colds, just to add a bit of humidity. Use citrus oil in a plastic diffuser and you'll see that the oil will not mix with water, of course, and will stay in little globs and eventually leave a residue on plastic insides.) Place a plastic water-misting diffuser beside one of Organic Aromas' diffusers and turn them both on. You can see the difference and watch the vapor spread up-and-out with OA's and compare that to the up-and-then-straight-down flow of the plastic water-misting diffusers. The 2 minutes On & Off cycle ensures that you don't get "nose blind" or desensitized to the EO. You get more bang for your buck because you can actually detect and appreciate when new vapor is being released, soyou will not be wasting oil.Aesthetics: "Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful." - William MorrisThis diffuser with its beautiful curves, is Both. It's a small work of art with a purpose. Someone may have already posted this, but here's a link for info and at the bottom is a video about how the wood is shaped and how the glass is expertly handblown http://organicaromas.com/pages/how-it-works . The wooden base is smooth and has a lovely warm light color with subtle graining. The handblown glass vessel and little cap are perfect with no bubbles or warped edges. No plastic water-misting diffuser can compare. Pure EOs also degrade plastic, another reason why OA's glass vessel is superior. I also love the color-changing light, it's unique to this brand of diffuser. It has more of a gentle mood lighting effect and emits far less light than a child's nightlight. I've also used this on my nightstand and my husband and I slept easily with the light on the whole night. The light adds a warm, charming ambiance. This diffuser is a real conversation piece, when it's downstairs in the family room, guests always ooh and ahh over it.Sound: As I just wrote, I have also slept with this on my nightstand with no problems. I do keep it at the lowest setting when in the master bedroom, as that is all I need. I have never had to turn it up full blast, but if you did so without its cap, there is a slight white noise shhhh sound. I imagine that if you had it on full blast with out its cap on and you sat close to it, it might not be to your liking. Put the cap on the diffuser, though, and the sound is negligible, especially since when I place it downstairs in the family room area, we are moving about and usually have other things going on that actually produce sound. We can tell it's working not by its sound, but by the aroma when it's cycling On.Cleaning: I clean my diffuser about every 2-3 weeks because I use different EOs, including pure single citrus as well as citrus blends and blends containing frankincense, which are relatively viscous. I've had the diffuser for almost 3 months and I've never had a clog. The regular cleaning is probably why. It's easy though, so don't be put off by it. I just remove the glass vessel, half-fill it with hot water and a few drops of dish soap, place my thumb over the opening, shake it gently for a bit and rinse with warm water.Customer Service: I corresponded with Chad, who was courteous and patient with the Many questions and follow-up questions I had before I finally made my order. However, the true test of good customer service is how things are handled when a glitch takes place. A mix-up occurred through no fault of OA, yet Chad took immediate steps to rectify it and he kept in contact until I received it, almost like a worried parent. He actually cared what happened! It arrived safe and sound. The diffuser parts were all securely packed in a dense gray foam with easy to follow instructions, plus 2 Long pipettes and a surprise! I already have EOs, but for those of you who don't, a bottle of oil is actually included so you can try the diffuser immediately. As far as I know, OA is the only brand that includes a bottle of oil, much less 2 large pipettes, with every diffuser. (The oil I received was Signature Blend, a really nice slightly woodsy scent, perfect for the holidays and worth ordering on its own.)Cons: This isn't really a con, just be careful that when you add your EO, you hold the diffuser at an angle so that the oil drips slowly down the inner wall of the glass vessel and doesn't fall straight down on top of the glass tubules. Like I wrote earlier, I haven't had any clogs, but I can see how it could happen if EO drops landed on top of the tubule openings. I also wish there were heavily discounted 2-, 3-, or 4-pack prices, as you will want more than one for your home or office and you'll want to share this product and the benefits of aromatherapy with your friends and family. I plan to donate a couple to our children's school. Lastly, I Really wish OA made a tiny cordless wall-plug model so that I could put one in each bathroom. My dream gift would be their Hand-Carved Floral Diffuser: http://organicaromas.com/collections/hand-carved-essential-oil-diffusers :)Our family loves our diffuser. I wish we had one for every room in the house. I've already ordered 2 more and plan to order others as very special gifts.

Too many defects to make an investment in this nebulizer
I had a problem with the flow of the vaper after running it continuously for two weeks. I deep cleaned it as per the instructions, but I found that it wasn't effective. If you purchase this, Amazon says that it cannot be refunded. It says it can't be returned per the seller. I bought other tops because I thought the dust was getting into the tube. The toppers are 15.00. If you buy the entire glass and top, it is 25.00. I thought I had resolved the issue. I was wrong. A new issue popped up. The machine stopped working, and it appeared that the electrical plug had a short.I tried plugging it into various outlets and could see that moving the plug turned it on and off. Either way, no aroma.Amazon gave me a goodwill refund because the listing did not indicate the item was not returnable. They told me I could dispose of it or donate it. I decided to keep working on it. I also told Amazon that they need to make it known on the listing that the item is NOT returnable. I contacted the seller. Once they discovered that Amazon refunded me, they wanted it back.So is it returnable or not? Maybe it is non-returnable for people who don't complain and accept the auto-generated message. If the unit fails, it is probably best to contact the company directly if you have time on your hands to go back and forth. They should be able to help. I saw other people were paying additional fees for parts after having the unit for less than three months. The company sent me a label to send it back. They didn't try to sell me a WORKING unit. Their focus was on getting the non-working unit back...so maybe it is returnable. My feeling is that the unit has known flaws and the suckers who run and rate the thing with five stars after having it for a few weeks will learn that it won't run for long--and then you have to pay to get it fixed.I found another US-based company (Aromis) that has nebulizers here on Amazon and on their own website--Nebulizers that run for 12 hours, not the two hours that this unit runs. I'd say that Aromis has better machines and they are 10.00 less.Aromis indicated that the electrical plug could go out. I think that is what is the issue with this machine--besides the clogs. I'd try the bent cap just in case dust is the cause of the plug. Organic Aromas has one model where the outlet cap is slightly bent, if you decide to keep buying from them, you might try this.I won't be purchasing anything from this company. When the machine failed, after days of use, it was deemed unreturnable. If this happens to you, don't give away your money. Contact the company. If they can't resolve it at no additional expense, contact Amazon.
