Good starter kit. The pumps can only push 12" head, max.
I love that this came as a kit. The capacitance probes work great. The relay board works great. Unfortunately, the pumps are garbage for my project. The pumps will work fine if you are not pushing greater than 12" above the water level/pump level. I contacted the seller and promptly received a .pdf set of instructions that were a very helpful starter spot. It included some rudimentary suggested starter code and a rudimentary wiring diagram. I'm writing this review even though it says that Amazon is out of this product and doesn't know if they'll get it back. Even though the pumps were garbage for my project--so I had to purchase four more pumps--I'm very happy with this kit and don't know why there are so many negative reviews. Edit: I've completed my project and am VERY happy with this kit. I had originally given this 4-stars, but am raising it to 5-stars. The pumps are still garbage for anything greater than tabletop potted plants, but the rest of this kit and the .pdf they sent me via e-mail are great and I still feel like the price is right. The pumps are still garbage, lol....

Second Chance?
It appears this seller learned their lesson in regards to the previous bad reviews. I was given an extra motor, and only one motor didn't work. Relay boards work, soil moisture sensors work. 5/5. If anything fails after a month or two I'll update

The only instructions is the wiring diagram in the description.
There was zero documentation or instructions with my order. I can’t find any sort of “tutorial” like they talk about in the description. All I received was an envelope of parts. I’m sure I’ll figure it out but it won’t be because of any help from the manufacturer. The parts look decent enough and the price was right. The cables included to connect the sensors to the Arduino are very short, you will probably have to splice in sections to get the proper length but you’ll have connectors to solder to. Overall the kit has quite a bit considering the price but the sheer lack of any instructions when they specifically talk about a tutorial is why I’m giving this 2 stars.

Instructions are very bad but does work in the end pretty good
Ok first off you need a Arduino to make this work the instructions are awful it works good when you finally figure it out i have the clean code that simply uploads after some time figuring out what was wrong and can teach you what to do its a shame they are so bad at the instructions reply me if you need the clean code it is 2.99 fee though because my time spent to get it working sorry but it works feel free to contact me

Great Product, but documentation is out of date
The sensors and motors work very well, and setting things up was extremely easy using the documentation. However, there is an inaccuracy in the wiring diagram provided by WayinTop both on the amazon page and on their official pdf (which was a bit hard to find). Instead of connecting the power cable to the VIN port on an Arduino Uno, you have to connect it to the 5V pin, which took me several hours to figure out. Once I figured that out the pumps and sensors work extremely well and have been working for more than a month now.

Surprised at how accommodating it is
I've been involved with dev boards and kits for about 12 years now, but am by no means a coder or schematic disigner. I'm proficient enough at both to sample what I need, edit and go from there. I do have to say I was impressed with the recourses this kit offered. Wiring instructions, code examples, all available off github. Usually when you purchase a kit or module you're left researching how to use it, which is what I'm used to. They have everything available with a simple link here. You could get a similar kit just about anywhere, but it's these small efforts to offer convenience that I really appreciate. I will first try to buy any sensor, kit or module from you before anywhere else from now on.

So far, so bad.
Have only tried the motors so far, will update with further use. That being said 2/4 motors are fine and working. The third motor was DOA, does not work. The fourth motor isn’t even the right type. It has no inlet/outlets on it....

Great instructions!
Reach out to the seller for the instructions. They were really quick about getting them to me. They don't really specify in the ad, but this kit is meant to hook up to something in the Arduino universe. They provide good pics and use an Uno as an example. The code is provided and I appreciate the small details like baud rate, etc. I was expecting a lot less and so was very pleased. I think the instructions are worth more than the parts.
