Marquis by Waterford Markham Pitcher 48 oz

Marquis by Waterford is a great quality, modern, and beautiful alternative to the big sister and more expensive Waterford. Love my pitcher and would recommend it. Only thing that would make it better is if it had a cover so when using outside, it keeps bugs out or even in the refrigerator, to keep other odors away.

Instantly fall in love with this pitcher. Pitcher has thick wall, the handle won't break when it's full of liquid inside. When light shines on its surface it sparkles with colorful spectrum of lights. The pitcher has a spout for pouring liquid so it doesn't spill. One minor issue is it's a little small. 48oz sounds a lot, but in real life uses it's a bit smaller than I would like; otherwise it's well built and beautifully made.

I am going to use this for flower arrangements, especially glads and long wands of everything from pussy willow vines to weeping vine roses. I need something large and lovely for this. My daughter has one that she uses for ice water. I think it would be too heavy for me handle for pouring, but she loves hers.

Shhhh, don't tell my aunts this, but they are ALL getting one of these for Christmas. The Amazon price was a little lower than the price on the Waterford website. They are a nice weight and very "sparkly." I ordered 7, and only 3 came with internal bubble wrap padding. The other 4 had only a thin plastic wrap on the outside of the box and internal cardboard supports inside the box - but no bubble wrap or any other protection around the actual pitcher. Fortunately, none were damaged in transit .... which is fortunate, considering the delivery person dumped about 10 boxes on my wet lawn beside the porch (not on the actual porch)....but that is another issue.

Based on a creative merit, learned skills and technique. That deliver a decorative, elegant style in my office!, a must have it.

Spills drink everywhere when pouring.
