Feel that the rough surface on the back is its best feature if you plan on using it on a dash board or other smooth surface were there might be movement. The silicone is thin but I suspect it will give added protection, the middle plastic piece is also thin and probably same amount of protection. Not sure it will get much use over the BRILA DUAL LAYER CASE also purchased for the 816 though.

The bottom part is rubbery and hangs off of the phone.

I like that it's durable, however the back plastic gets loose and sometimes unclips itself. Otherwise works as needed.

Just about what I expected. Good cover for the price. Quick shipping.

The hard case is bent...

My friend recommended that I look into getting a protective cover for an HTC Desire 816 cell phone I ordered off a TV shopping network. The case is totally awesome. It fits perfectly to my HTC desire 816

Doesn't protect the corners AT ALL. Its a thin rubber and it sticks to things and gets caught in things.I wouldn't recommend that you buy this.
