These bowls are wonderful. I use them for everything from salads to pasta. They don't leak, and hold up well when used in the microwave. They do get hot, so I use a Chinet brand 8.5" paper plate on top while heating to prevent splatter, then slide the bowl onto the plate for extra strength as I remove it from the microwave. The plate is also my shield from the heat. The bowls have retained their shape perfectly for all my uses.

These are wonderful bowls as they are big and I use them in the microwave especially when I have a cup of liquid with one bowl below one above so if it boils over it catches and they are fairly strong and I highly recommend.

I like the durable use of these bowls.Breakfast hot cereal great ease of use.To help support hot contents, I place another bowl for support.Little pricey however what isn't?
